  1. I’m unfortunately from Ontario, but I identify as a Saskatchewan resident. So, I completed the survey as such.

  2. I am a resident (life long). I am glad the survey had a “fill in your thoughts” area for each section. It allowed me to complain about specific recommendations and/or give unavailable options from those offered. All of mine were offered with serious intent to keep our power generation reliable, cheap and uninterrupted. (as opposed to many of those from SaskEnergy)

  3. Sad to see that they’re stuck on Net Zero by 2030 or 2050 or whatever. I think we need some long, hard winters and cool summers to wake these people up to the fact that it’s the sun that controls our climate, not a few parts per million of anthropogenic CO2. If have my facts right, it seems to me that manmade CO2 is about 3% of total CO2; most of it comes from nature, volcanoes, ocean outgassing as the sun heats it, and the like. The alarmists keep predicting catastrophes that never materialize, and the media keep feeding these lies to people via the idiot box (TV) and they believe it. I think politicians are no different; their lack of education in the sciences proves it. They swallow the lies as easily as their low-information voters.

There is plenty of evidence that we are entering another Grand Solar Minimum.

  4. Time to restate a couple of my brain farts of the past:

    It’s the sun, son.
Just say no to solar warming denial.

    And

The dream: Net Zero by 20xx.
The reality: Not Zero, Not Ever.

  5. This is ludicrous. The survey has numerous built in assumptions, such as assuming net zero is desirable. There is no response option for “you’re nuts”. I hope this isn’t being used to guide SaskPower decisions, although they can use all the guidance they can get.

  6. “Do you believe that David Suzuki is a climate god or are you a racist who kicks puppies?’
