    92A (1) In each province, the legislature may exclusively make laws in relation to

    (a) exploration for non-renewable natural resources in the province;

    (b) development, conservation and management of non-renewable natural resources and forestry resources in the province, including laws in relation to the rate of primary production therefrom; and

    (c) development, conservation and management of sites and facilities in the province for the generation and production of electrical energy.

    (2) In each province, the legislature may make laws in relation to the export from the province to another part of Canada of the primary production from non-renewable natural resources and forestry resources in the province and the production from facilities in the province for the generation of electrical energy, but such laws may not authorize or provide for discrimination in prices or in supplies exported to another part of Canada.

    (3) Nothing in subsection (2) derogates from the authority of Parliament to enact laws in relation to the matters referred to in that subsection and, where such a law of Parliament and a law of a province conflict, the law of Parliament prevails to the extent of the conflict.

    Of course the WEF bought & paid for politicians find this INCONVENIENT as they then have to control the politicians in 10 provinces rather than just at the federal level; which delays the “not so Great Reset” 🙂

    1. Nothing stops the provinces from enacting punishing export taxes to other parts of Canada.

    4. Subsections (2) and (3) effectively allow the federal Parliament to control provincial resource export. And reducing exports to zero is within that authority, as is setting the price at which the province may export those resources.

      Maybe they can’t tell you to stop entirely, but they can ensure no resource extraction company will ever set up shop in a prairie province when they can only sell to the provincial inhabitants. The market’s not big enough.

  8. I think a 100% surcharge on any food headed to Eastern Canada might be a good response. Also, make sure it spends enough tie being inspected to be at the point of spoilage before allowing shipping.

Given that the NRTA was ratified by a change to the Canadian constitution in 1930, and further entrenched by the Constitutional Act of 1982, I would guess that it would be impossible for the federal government to unilaterally rescind it, as it would be a Category 3 amendment requiring ratification by the affected provinces.

    1. Yes, it might allow Ontario and Quebec. BC to be challenged as well. Who knows what might happen, because it doesn’t work now.

  11. The Canadian government’s abusive relationship with Alberta and Saskatchewan will only end when our provinces divorce the rest of Canada. Alberta and Saskatchewan have products that the world needs – oil, gas, potash, uranium, grains, livestock, etc. This means that our provinces will continue to have surpluses and a growing economy which seems to anger voters east of Manitoba. Apparently, the equalization scheme that moves billions from west to east every year isn’t enough for the greedy politicians in the rest of Canada… they now want to directly control production and profits from our natural resources. Just ours though, not other provinces…much like the old “Canadian” Wheat Board that only applied to western Canadian farmers.

    I only vote for provincial and national separatist parties because of shit like this from the Trudeau Liberal government. The only way to get out from under Ottawa’s boot is to get out of Canada.

    1. Get out of Canada and go where exactly? I’m not sure I would go to the USA right now except maybe Florida, Mexico is out also. So now we are looking at Europe or South America. I’ve been searching for an alternative to Canada and I am not sure about where to move to.
      Any one have suggestions?

        1. Mexico has a high crime rate and the more desirable areas have become too costly. The Far East (Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam) has a lower crime rate and your money will give you far more purchasing power.

  16. If this is true, would Quebec support such a plan? Because if you can strip out the resources of 3 provinces you can take back the resources of all the provinces. And why would the Justice Minister drop something like this on us now?

    I had a little thought. What if the Fed is taking back resources to give them to First Nations, to be administered by the Fed?

  21. When / if these resource controls are returned to the federal gov’t …. don’t tell us that then the federal gov’t will be sated, satisfied with their control over us.

    This is only 1 of the steps they deem necessary. What are you going to do about it? nada!
    Separation from Old Canada is the only way forward. Anything else is a temporary compromise, heavy on the “temporary”.

  24. A young couple our son knows, well we older people know them too packed up and moved to Jamaica. Jamaica? not exactly top of mind when you think of countries that are run by good government. The guy put it this way, “yeah we might be jumping from the frypan into the fire but look around and face some hard facts. Canada has gone hard left commie and the US seems hell-bent on following that path,
    I don’t expect to see much improvement on the way things are run where we’re moving to but look no carbon tax to heat your home and vastly better weather overall”.
