Thanks, guys. That sheds some light on the subject. If I read this right, it’s the Canadian government that set them off. Canada accused the sitting government of India of killing Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil. So, these protestors took that to mean that Modi is targetting activists outside India proper.
