  1. Got to agree with Maher and he is right on pointing out the stupidity of the OUHHGDK;MMMCOL craze. How come he sounds so accurate now. Thought he always was hard core left.

    1. David – I don’t watch Maher so I don’t know how he leans politically but this clip is invaluable for two reasons, a. It’s comedy and to Woke zombies, comedy is like sunlight to vampires, and b. I can send this to my liberal friends and they will actually view it because it’s not a Ben Shapiro clip. We need to keep this message going because the alphabet people control the media. Our children need protection from this plague and we can’t wait for Jazz to sue his parents for castrating him because thousands of kids will be spayed or neutered by then.

PS, I’m going to use the “so you think your kid has a nut allergy” line a lot in the future.

      1. He has been a rabid democrat liberal all his life but once in a while, like a stopped clock, he is right as in correct.

        1. VOWG – by definition, “right” is equivalent to correct ha ha. But also, every once in a while Maher is “right”, as in the political leaning, as well apparently.

          1. Nah, he’s still a dick and stupid and not funny.
From Foxnews.com – During a panel discussion Friday night, Maher reiterated his stance on how he could never cast a vote for a Republican since the party “doesn’t believe in the emergency of climate change or democracy.”
But he’s got a TV show and a large audience. I don’t know how many ‘Republicans’ attend Maher’s tapings but that audience was applauding distinctively conservative positions.

          2. Red Pop – I agree, he’s a dick, but I’m still going to use his moment of lucidity to my advantage. Large numbers of innocent, native, trusting children need our help.

  2. I was a fan of Maher some 10+ yrs ago, but now I find that I can’t listen to him at all.

He may currently be choosing to acknowledge 20% of reality, but I believe he is also consciously choosing to ignore the other inconvenient 80%. I also believe that his leftist bias is so imprinted that his particular case of Trump Derangement Syndrome may in fact be incurable.

I think Maher sees the dying narrative and is trying to adjust his show to appeal more to normies than woke crazies. He is absolutely not experiencing some ‘great conservative awakening’, the majority of his beliefs are as leftarded as ever.

    1. Spot on. And I was shocked to see Adam Carolla sitting there, since Carolla is unapologetically conservative … and far funnier on his feet than Maher is reading his writers work. Never invite someone smarter and funnier than you onto your show … right?

There’s another reason Maher is doing this … public opinion. Even WITH 20% of the young people supposedly identifying as LGBTQqAI+/-2s … public opinion is stridently OPPOSED to the mutilation of our children! The vast majority of our public is pushing back on the entire Trans-fashion-industry of screwing with children’s sexual identity. Maher is simply being motivated by public opinion.

Now let’s see how many of the Maher’s of the world line up behind Elon Musk as the coordinated leftist attack on him commences.

  3. There was data from the CDC a few years back, before gender was politicized, that showed 6 people per 100000 self identified as transgendered. I would bet that is an accurate assessment in a non politicized environment

    Now it’s likely 6000 per 100k

  4. I’m ambivalent about people like Maher having their come to Jesus moments. For a guy who’s touted as the premier sociopolitical critic with his finger on the nation’s cultural pulse he sure is a spectacular failure. Let’s not forget he’s the same guy who pushed the Trump/Russia collusion hoax like nothing else when anyone with a room temperature IQ knew it was a steaming pile of horsesh*t.
His cutesy “I haven’t changed…the left has” was only because he doesn’t have the balls to say he’s been wrong all these years.
Kinda like Noam Chomsky only slightly funnier.

    1. Noam Chomsky came out the other day wishing Trump was in the White House to make a deal with Putin and end the war. I kid you not.

  5. Isn’t it funny how Bill Maher is making sense more and more often these days? I mean really, he’s been showing up in Conservative blogs with these little gems quite regularly.

Almost as if he knows where the audience is, and he’s shifting his pitch so he doesn’t get left behind.

When you’re in show business you don’t want to be standing in front of an excited, motivated, cheering crowd of 20 True Believers in an otherwise empty stadium. True Believers are not going to pay the pool cleaner guy, right?

    1. Phantom – An SDA reader noted the other day that Ralph Klein was quoted as saying that politics is simply seeing which way the parade is going and getting out in front of it. Something like that.

      1. And here I was thinking that politics was just show-business for UGLY people.

The corollary being that Show Biz is politics for the “beautiful” people. Spit!

  6. “Maybe this wasn’t such a great idea after all”, he says as he’s herded onto a boxcar.

A few years late and a few trillion dollars short.

  7. maher hits the target enough times l will consider his views.
his position on the ideological spectrum seems to have moved noticeably but not drastically.
