  1. It’s Canada.
The no consequences for Liberals anyplace, anytime, anyhow country.
Possibly affiliated with the no guts, no glory, no balls, no brains “Opposition” ” Conservatives”.

  2. Gladu enjoyed the show. LOL.

It also reinforces my hard and steadfast rule that politics should be assigned 0 weight in deciding to move to another jurisdiction, domestically or internationally.

And whoa, yes, the second clip of insanely enforced faux cheeriness is spooky in the extreme. Clearly she knows she won’t be contesting in another election and will be more than content with whatever incentive she has been offered.

    1. Correction.

“……with whatever bribery she has ACCEPTED!”

These creatures have no shame, and care about nothing other than the reflection in the mirror. Remember that next time when you’re standing in the ballot box.
Why do Conservatives do such a LOUSY and POOR job vetting their candidates? It’s not just federal, it’s provincial too. BC had at least 3 socialists running and winning their seats. The enemy within.

  3. Here’s the letter I sent her a few weeks ago:

    Dear Marilyn
I wish to congratulate you on your recent decision to cross the floor and join the Liberal Party. By doing so you have joined a select band of traitors who sacrifice their duty to constituents for personal opportunity. You truly are a role model for dishonesty and duplicity. I’d say “shame on you”, but it is obvious that you have no pride or shame.

    Yours truly

    1. Knowing the type she proved herself to be, she probably wiped herself with your letter.

      1. There is a really good chance she didn’t see it. Her loyal office fart-sucker would likely shield her from unpleasant truths like that.

I got a standard “thank you for your correspondence …” reply.

  4. The notes she was given to read were written in red liberal crayon. I hope her breath didn’t melt the wax.

  5. Brian Mulroney on Bryce Mackasey’s plum patronage posting to Portugal, “There’s no whore like an old whore.”
Fits like a glove in regards to Gladuhadyerhandout.

  6. Buzzy – it reminds me ever so much of crude saying long ago-” Don’t call her a call her a cheap Whore because she will hit you over the head with a sack of quarters.” Unfortunately it is apt even though it should be beneath me to think it. I keep hoping there would be one or two Liberals with enough of a moral compass to stop supporting the steady march to total control. But if wishes were horses beggars would ride. Well ,now a lot of them drive a better car than me , so apparently that doesn’t apply in the new world order. Sorry, just ramblings from a confused old man who doesn’t understand why after 10 years of build back better we need build stronger and how a sovereign debt fund is going to make us prosperous.

  7. So important is a Liberal majority to Idiot Canadians, there are Elbows Up retards lined up to lick Gladu’s asshole.

  8. “I can’t imagine throwing away my dignity like this.”

I agree, what she’s doing seems psychotic. But, sobering thought, it means that everything she said previously was every bit as much a lie as what she’s saying now. It’s -all- theater.

Even more sobering thought, the entire #Lieberal Party is composed of people like that. And to my eye, half the CPC. None of them are trustworthy.

There is a way to handle this, of course. Tax cuts. Just limit the money they can steal.

    1. “But, sobering thought, it means that everything she said previously was every bit as much a lie as what she’s saying now. It’s -all- theater.”

Bing-effin-go! We’re on to something here, folks! Because theater it was (and is) indeed!

Now, how about a little thought exercise: what percentage of our federal politicians are just playing the same kind of theater role as this Paragon of Principles was?

  9. Actually, there are a whole lot of people, albeit scattered and disorganised, who could REALLY put the cat among the pigeons, but they’d have to do it as individuals.

Marilyn Gladu ran for the Conservative leadership. In my estimation she came close to Leslyn Lewis. She came round soliciting our votes (I’m still a party member). I had a few minutes with her, and was very favourably impressed at the time, after bringing up my two most urgent issues: immigration and energy (just build the bloody pipelines!).

Bearing in mind the exaggerated, insane nature of American culture, her defection is a bit like Nick Fuentes switching to supporting the Democrat Party based on his Jew Derangement Syndrome.

I also have friendship-based-albeit-not-close access to a Liberal MP and have already brought the gob-smacking incongruity of the Gladu defection to her office, based on that conversation.

All Conservative members whose votes Marilyn Gladu was soliciting should do something similar, tailoring their approach to their own circumstances.

Leadership-seeking Politicians will do ANYTHING for members’ votes. I have a whole lot of photos from the race eventually won by Andrew Scheer where contenders soliciting my vote were happy to pose with me wearing a MAGA hat….
