6. So. Iran agrees to a ceasefire … after The US Navy CLOSED the straits to everyone – primarily Iran. We even turned quite a few Iranian loaded vessels away. So Iran announces “The Straits are Open”! Just so a non-Iranian vessel is allowed to sail into the strait by the US Navy … only to be fired upon by Iran … after the US gave passage. Iran doing what Iran does … gun down 42k innocents in the streets … or fire upon civilian tankers.

7. Looks to me like Trump is not obligated at all to wait for the clock to run out on the 2 week ceasefire. No deal, the missiles start launching again. Two weeks is a long time to assess and identify new targets.

8. Now the question is, at what point do we all agree that this is a pirate regime, and the sovereigns of the world must unite to replace it with something civilized. That it is in Europe’s interest to take control, and the Americans should do it only if the Europeans admit that they themselves cannot. And that if they cannot, the Americans must, even if it makes Trump look good. The goal is world-wide consensus that Trump should be given a free hand. And without such consensus, well, the world can go to hell. The US is looked after.
