    In TN … June (the Gay month here in CA) … is now officially ‘Nuclear Family Month’. i.e. … intact, married, male and female, heterosexual, middle class, happy family with 2.2 children, living in the suburbs … Dick, Jane, baby sister Sally, their dog Spot, kitten Puff, and a teddy bear named Tim.

        when Trivia Pursuit came out l was unbeaten. if an incorrect answer was shown, l would point it out but
        didnt make an issue, the ex was colleague to some influential people

        1. I used to play Trivial Pursuit in a crowd which agreed that you’d get your point if your wrong answer was nonetheless considered to be better than the correct one. This encouraged creativity. We gave quite a few such points. I can offhand only remember the one I got for answering, “What must you exceed to create a sonic boom?”, with, “The bounds of good taste.”

          BBTW … saw the movie Song Sung Blue … highly recommended. And was really shocked to learn this Neil Diamond duo actually opened a Wisc. show for Pearl Jam. Sorry, spoiler alert.

    2. My daughter in law is in the insurance business. Their birthday gift to me was a dash-cam with front and rear cameras.
      She explained that one of the scams is the a-holes would sit at a light or stop sign and then back quickly into the car behind them, making it look like they were hit from behind. Big injury payments. This has been increasing quite a lot recently.
      I picked the accessory ignition kit so I could get parking lot and break-in pics as well.
      Then I picked up the same kit for Gram’s car. I caught hell for this as it was a planned future gift for her. 🙂
      Installation was not easy, both cars were quite tightly put togeather and power availability was difficult to access. Need to be careful to route cables behind air bags.
      Will probably be a worthwhile investment.

    Even Labour Ministers are calling for Starmer’s resignation. Peter Mandelson FAILED his MI6 security vetting but was appointed anyway because Starmer claims on Feb 4,”no one told me”. Today’s reports are the issue is not Mandelson’s ties to Epstein but Mandelson’s ties to China.
