  1. How will they do it? Let me lay out the playbook:

    1. They’ll carefully research who owns guns and do some preliminary surveillance and possibly interviews.
    2. They’ll identify a white man who they can portray as the most vile Trump-like redneck.
    3. They’ll send 2 sympathetic female RCMP officers, complete with full video camera coverage, to search the man’s home, albeit backed up by a dozen or more SWAT members.
    4. They will hope for pushback from the man and be fully prepared to kill him if they can justify it.
    5. This event will be carefully crafted into a narrative and broadcast all over Lieberal TV: “White gun owner bad and dangerous. Brave, hard working police officers stop him from hurting neighbours.”

    That’s how it’ll be done.

        And in a Venn Diagram, that 80% would be the same cohort of people who are defying the gun buy-back.

    3. That certainly is one plausible scenario. Provoking a target, or demographic to get a readily frameable response for optics, and casus belli, is as old as human tribal history. But this also assumes that the RCMP are fearless automatons.. stormtroopers with nerves of steel. Trampling unarmed protestors beneath their horses may have been a. rush.. for these noble stalwarts of law and order, but after a few of them get shot in the face by panicked and terrified gun-owners turned felons, or possibly even ambushed by what they’ll deem.. ‘zealots’ .. those who object to being intimidated by what they perceive as fascist government thuggery, those brave lawmen will slowly become less enthusiastic about being the tip of the liberal party’s spear, and imposing their political will with RCMP blood.. The early mileage they might get from CBC spun optics regarding ‘white nut-jobs’ won’t last long, public sentiment is a fickle thing.. and rest assured, if dead citizens and police officers mount, the feds will be forced to to beat a hasty retreat from that policy. If in doubt, take a look at the storied history of ‘no-knock warrants’ in the U.S. to see where that road goes..

    1. I was going to say something similar. Years ago the Quebec police banged on the door of someone wanted for something (i.e., a bad guy). They were greeted with a shotgun blast. One of the officers, who stopped much of the door with her face, died on the scene. They don’t do that anymore.

      I don’t advocate violence. I don’t own a gun. I just want to say that if the police think they can take your gun and you won’t resist, they’ll take it – if they are told to. And they will be.

  4. We have a two tier justice in Canada. One set of rules for indigenous, one set for white people. Any group of white people who try that will given the Freedom Convoy treatment.

    2. The only hangup is when whites don’t have guns but gun violence continues, how can they take those guns?

      1. They’ll use it to justify even more ridiculous, heavy-handed gun laws anyway, then they’ll break out the old ‘stop & frisk’ to look like they are doing *something*. Be certain, that to avoid accusations if ‘rAcIsM!!1!!1’, they will annoy people and violate their dignity.. equitably..

  7. When they were announcing the gun confiscation, it was said that the only purpose of “assault weapons” was to kill as many people as quickly as possible. So they had to be taken away. Except for indigenous people.
    They are the only people who need that kind of weapon.

  8. The premise of the post is wrong. The “crimes” are not equal. The indigenous warriors prevented the serving of a likely legitimate warrant for a likely legitimate “crime”. Gun confiscation (from peaceful owners) is only a legitimate activity for fascists and communists.

Along a similar vein about ‘gun control’ I mentioned on Blazing Cat Fur that the ‘buy-back’ program was only the beginning, maybe not exactly the beginning but the next step in measuring how compliant and complacent Canadians really are. If the ‘buy-back’ gun control is successful how long will it be before they come and install restrictions on the type of vehicle we are allowed to drive. Restrictions on horsepower, size, governed speed, age of vehicle, they can implement any amount of restrictions at will. How many complacent and compliant Canadians allowed the experimental injections that were decreed ‘for the common good’? How many compliant and complacent Canadians ceded their right to self-defence when the first fire-arms restrictions were introduced? How many compliant and complacent Canadians sat back when their ability to protest was removed by laying criminal charges and freezing bank accounts? For the answer to these questions one only has to look at the voting percentages over the last fifty to seventy-five years, five percent independents or others, fifteen percent NDP, forty plus Liberal, less than forty Conservatives. This country has now fallen victim to the Goebbels/Milgram/Grandin method of governing, tell the sheep a lie, reinforce the lie by having ‘experts’ in white coats and uniforms repeat it, hearing the lie often enough delivered by the ‘experts’ and the sheep will seek safety by being compliant and complacent and follow the herd, even though it leads to destruction.

  10. given that the cops in my current jurisdiction made absolutely certain of five things:
    -they believe stolen properrty is hilariously so much as to create standup comedy and refuse to file a report,
    -l am in no circumstance permitted to defend myself
    -they will, every time, resolutely refuse to view any surveillance video
    -they have officially refused to give any indication what it takes to GET THEM to view surveillance video
    -refuse to clarify what l am required to do and allowed to do after an assault

    ALL of the above based on years of personal experience l advise one and all it DELIGHTS ME when cops are
    shot to death. very ‘funny’ when one sustains a loss, as l was taught by them.
    and in the very same time line not a titch of an effort to contradict the about evolved beliefs.

    never ever ever trust ANY cop about ANYTHING. shut yer yap, dont volunteer ANYTHING
    they are NEVER on your side and care not a hoot about the ‘truth’ unless it dovetails with their agenda.
    all of the above reinforced by observation and conversations with dozen of others.

      Cop: That is what insurance is for. To replace “article” that was stolen (after deducting the use you got out of it).

      Cop: One of ours was shot to death.
      Me: That’s what (life) insurance is for. So you can replace him/her/it who was shot.

        cop: (almost eaxct quote) “then we will sieze the animal and PUT IT DOWN for being ‘aggressive’ ”
        l then concluded these murderous snarky thugs with badges WANTED a quasi-homeless person bitten to give themselves GROUNDS TO KILL MY BELOVED AND PROTECTIVE PET.

        so SDA do you ‘get it’ now? hmmm? mouthy mouths salivating over the prospect of KILLING my doggie who is destined to be THE ONLY ONE lve ever owned *its entire life*? hmmm?
        you take great offense as they do whenever another dead one shows up in the news and *I* for my part, mimicking their snarky tone, inquire ‘how funny is stolen property in your jurisdiction?’
        followed by ‘are you aware a LOT of people out here are delighted your colleague is dead?’

  11. I am sure the honoury members,err RCMP minions will be so much braver when they assault a lone licensed firearm owner at 3am,while shooting your dog and terrifying your wife,children and any visitors.
    The Rodger Kotanko execution will be their go to model.
    The State of Thuggery is very brave,when assaulting the very weak.
    Amusing how terrified they are..of any who say “No”.

Once upon a time I was treated to the sight of OPP riot cops standing on Argyle St. in Caledonia, where absolutely nothing ever used to happen, taking rocks and bottles on the backs of their helmets as they faced the unarmed and not-rioting townies gathered to see about the rioting a$$h0les who had been shooting guns at their houses from unfinished new homes in the Douglas Creek Estates, beating people in the Canadian Tire parking lot, and tearing up their neighborhood on ATVs. Carrying guns in some cases, I recall.

    Once upon a time I saw Gary McHale (remember that guy?) tackled to the ground by numerous cops, injured, and dragged away to be held without charge (or medical treatment) for 48 hours. His crime was standing on the side of the road, doing literally nothing.

    So where once upon a time I used to believe in “Law and Order” now I feel more that the law is rigged like a crooked roulette wheel in a casino run by the Mob. And whereas previously I had a dim view of the Indians and their “demonstrations” against the cops, these days I’m giving them a nod. If they’re only chasing the #Horsemen away from their illegal weed operation, that’s not the worst thing they could be doing.

    If nothing else, it displays the rigging on the crooked roulette wheel. Never a bad idea to shine a light on corrupt authorities, IMHO.
