Brampton is slowly turning into #Minnesota. Last night at the Committee of Adjustment at #Brampton city hall, there were three applications for #daycares in zones where they’re not permitted. The locations are:
👉 the Bramalea Islamic Culture Centre
👉 Primont Properties Inc.
👉the Canadian Mothercraft SocietyAll 3 motions were PASSED, despite many community members being present and loudly OPPOSING these daycares.
This shows the same pattern: requests for massive variances, daycares popping up in commercial/industrial spots, and questions about how these operations are actually being run.

So I get it straight, y’all have the money for this kinda thing but struggle to hit 2% of GDP for your military? And that’s because you have a big, mostly friendly gullible neighbor that takes care of all your military needs?
I know CAN isn’t EU, but… EU has, last I checked, 15% of the world’s economy but 65% of the welfare bennies in the world — all the while asking the Yanks to pay 75% of their national defense. THEN… this is the fun part… lots of chatter how those countries are sooo much better to live in than the States ’cause of those programs?

Let’s boot the muzzies and POC, then export those on the deportation list (and track them down ruthlessly), plus restrict immigration and deport those whose visas have expired. No appeals. And ditch the foreign worker program. And offer mandatory MAID to Liberal and NDP supporters. Then cut government at all levels by 50% in the first year….. No use by government of consultants, no ads paid for by the ‘Government of …’, no media subsidies (bye bye CBC), and reduce regulation and consultation across the board. Check what’s coming into the country more thoroughly by land, sea and air. No DEI, Critical Race Theory, cheering about so called Pride.

No, the big friendly neighbor does not contribute to the Canadian military or it would not be in such a state. All our hardware, bases, salaries, research, pensions, etc, are funded by our own government. We buy and maintian our own kit. We handle NORAD within a bi-national Command, with some US staff here in Canada and Canadian staff and operators in the US (mainly Alaska, Colorado Springs and a handful of other places). The Deputy Commander of NORAD is a Canadian. We have forward operating bases in the arctic to handle interceptions. The US contributes zero financially to the Defense of Canada. Does it help? Of course it does, we hold combined exercises. When we bought the Herk J, the Chinook F and the C-17s, the US helped in expediting our taking posession of the aircraft by giving us some that were already on the production line and facilitated aircrew and technician training. In return, they could point to Canada as a member of the coalition of the willing. Canada spends little of defense, but get it out of your head that you spend your defense dollar here.
Uh, you have never had a navy capable of defense of your shores. Helluva icebreaker fleet, ferries and rescue ships, but if the Soviets/Russian ever got serious…????
Last time you needed an intercept you called the Yanks. No matter what planes you buy from us or Saab or whatever, you lack the money and infrastructure to even defend your own landmass. You don’t have the training / flight time budget to have them be able to use the things either. Most of your aircraft are now helicopters used for rescue.
And so it goes. You have 23rd largest military, spending less than 2% of GDP but then you want to tell the Yanks how they should do it. The Yanks, as you might recall, ran and paid for most of NORAD during the cold war, patrolled your shores w/ our nuke subs (CAN has, what, 5 old diesel subs bought from the Brits?) and told the Ruskies that if they nuked Canada we’d respond as if they nuked Iowa. I’m sure that there are some great folks in your military but… you’re 23rd.

Untrue! We had a navy that made the Russians think twice about screwing with Canada. In fact, we had a carrier strike group. Up until 1968, when it was destroyed by the #Lieberal Party of Canada.
2026, -now- we don’t have a navy. Okay technically we have one, but it can’t do anything.
The Canadian Navy specialized in anti-submarine warfare during the Cold War. Keyboard warrior just wants to impress upon us that the US has a large military, as if we didn’t already know. Also a $39 trillion debt, which worried Trump as unsustainable and drives much of his agenda.
Defend ourselves against who exactly? The only people threatening to invade Canada are the US.
Throughout the entire cold war the US plan was to fight a nuclear war with the Soviets in Canadian airspace. The only reason Canada would be part of that war is because it is a US ally. If it wasn’t a US ally the Soviet Union would have no beef with us. Shooting down Soviet nuclear weapons over Canada isn’t defending Canada.
Let’s just say it is a mutual interest because the heart of Canada is within 100 miles of the US border all along. And also has some targets important to our integrated economy. Personally if I had to destroy a nuke bomber, the middle of nowhere a thousand miles north of here would be a good spot. The farther the better. An overland invasion is impossible through the arctic. The best invasion route is through immigration Canada. Hell, we’ll subsidize you.

The community members who objected should do a “Nick Shirley” and visit the day cares. Take it a step further and sit outside the day cares and count the children (if any) coming and going, taking videos as evidence. If there are kids, then it’s all good. If none, then…

One of the lynch pins of this type scam is to have a money transfer service available willing to participate. The goto service in Minneapolis is Dahabshiil Money Transfer (based in Somalia). I took a look, and congratulations are in order. You’ll find a relatively new Dahabshiil Money Transfer service now located in Toronto.
One of the other major things they do is take large sums of cash and just fly it out internationally on commercial flights. In Minneapolis, it was estimated that they were doing three flights a week with an average carry on holding $6 Million US each run. The money, of course, would be flown to a location that has significant resources for laundering. First leg of such an effort is usually Antwerp, which serves as a holder spot that then splits between Africa and the Middle East. Ironically, it’s the same route used on stolen vehicles out of North America. It’s likely the same organizations as well.
Don’t forget, they also make ‘contributions’ to the Liberal Party of Canada and Liberal family members.
This reduces the chance of being investigated, and ensures light sentences if they are ever convicted.
