    1. Yep.
CBS has never reported news, they’ve always been propaganda. They got exposed when Dan Blather got caught telling bald-faced lies on national television. And like all good liberals, Blather & CBS doubled down. Good riddance.

  1. Stations that use CBS News Radio programming, such as correspondent reports, include high-profile outlets like WINS(AM/FM) in New York, KNX(AM/FM) in Los Angeles, WBBM(AM) in Chicago, KCBS(AM) in San Francisco and WTOP(FM) in Washington, D.C.
The loss of left leaning CBS Radio News will be a blow to urban Democrat midterm strategy.

    1. Heck, even the local conservative talk radio outlet in Philadelphia (WPHT – owned by George Soros, if you can believe it) uses the CBS News radio news feed at the top of every hour.

    1. Will we ever grow tired of using the “Learing” line in jokes and mischief …. someone wise once said “mischief is important” 😉

  2. I haven’t listened to radio in probably 25 years. Not at home, not in the car. Put the MP3 player on shuffle and drive along. Lately, Spotify. Can’t argue with free.

About the only radio I listened to was Rush Limbaugh anyway. I always liked to hear him on the golden EIB microphone. If something was in the news I’d tune in and see if his take matched mine. Since 2021 I haven’t had the radio on at all.

Because all they do is lie and play commercials. So if they all go out of business, I’ll be pretty happy.

  3. Radio: the medium of the working class. Purging another lying, liberal poop shoot is what winning looks like. A nice follow-up to the defunding of NPR, where commentators endlessly lecture us about clinging to our guns and religion.

    1. Here in the SF Bay Area … I grew up on KCBS News radio. All news all the time. It was insufferable in the late 1970’s … but by the 1990’s it was like listening to radio-free Soviet Union. Everything remotely conservative… remotely patriotic was to be mocked and derided. Everything bad in America originated on the right side of the spectrum.

Sorry it took so long to die. It should have died when Reagan got that wall torn down

  4. l bought a dodge Caravan in november, 200k kms, 2016 sufficient for my needs as a retiree.
it came with satellite radio but that disappeared around(?) begining of the month.
    how does that work?

    1. It requires a subscription. (With new cars you get six months, or more, free. Don’t know about used cars if you bought it from a dealer.) Sirius XM has various packages you can get, depending on what you want to listen to. If you want to sign up for one, go to their website and look. Then call them and try to negotiate the price. They’ll pretty much always do that. And they definitely do when you want to renew a subscription. Never pay what the packages say they want. Those prices are ridiculous.

      1. I’m at the point of cancelling my Sirius subscription because they implemented another automatic price increase last month. I’ve heard that if you cancel they will respond with promotional pricing to retain the account.

        1. I’m paying $6CAD a month for the top tier subscription. In-car radio, Internet streaming, all the premium channels.

          It’s not worth it.

        2. I first received Sirius free in 2007 with a new car.
          The price was $75 annually.
They sent me a renewal for $125.
I said I”d keep it if the price remained the same, otherwise I’d cancel.
          Renewed at $75.
Have used the same bit every year since.
Still paying $75 when their offer is now around $200.
          The hilarious part?
The past 3 years I don’t even have to speak to someone, there is a voicemail offering automatic renewal with no increase.
