202 Workshop Depot in Montreal had a parking lot full of combat destroyed armoured vehicles that had been shipped back from Yugo. The only news reports we ever saw were about soldiers dying was that they were killed in “traffic accidents”. It was never reported that in that part of the world a traffic accident was you APC being hit by an anti-armour missile.
All that to say the government pretending our soldiers aren’t in danger isn’t a new thing.
What could possibly convince Canadians that Carney cares at all about the well-being of the Canadian military? Or of Canadians at large, for that matter?

Probably not specifically targeted. They just happened to be on a base that Iran lobbed a ballistic missile at. The way they have been firing them all over the place indiscriminately, it’s not a big claim to fame. I’m guessing the Carney gubmint wasn’t really hiding anything, they probably just didn’t care and the media didn’t care either. There are more serious issues to cover, like a girl’s soccer team in Australia and the CBC larping in airsoft helmets in the Lebanon Hilton parking lot.

I think the settler colonialist white supremacists that infest the Canadian military should take the hint and unpack themselves elsewhere, thereby allowing more deserving groups to add their voices to the institution.
