And the CPP, already a trillion in the hole, has bet the farm on hyperscalers with Carnage and Brookfield prodding them on. And Albertans, having a chance to escape that system, are instead going to vote for more of it like the dumbass halfwits we apparently are.
Bubble can’t pop fast enougb. The fallout is going to be SPECTACULAR.
The prediction of Wall Street bubbles is like the predictions of Hurricanes. Multiple computer programs chart predicted storm tracks … Fox News reporters with measuring gauges predict storm surge devastation … the vast majority of the time, the predictions are dead wrong and completely overwrought. FEAR sells. Humans appear to have a NEED to be afraid.
But sometimes the BIG storm hits.
Eventually the doom and gloom predictions come true. Because EVERYTHING in nature … cycles.
There are between 5 and 10gw of AI compute being used today, and the numbers are shrinking, not growing, as the largest users start to get the bill and the adults start to ask about the ROI. There are over 200gw worth of hyperscale data centers underway right now, with about double that number proposed or in planning. Most of the GPU’s sold in the last year are not installed, and won’t be installed before the next generation lands. GPU’s are lasting 1-3 years, are being depreciated over 5-7 years, and are being paid for on 15 year terms. NVidia is vendor financing mostbof these sales. These are all facts.
I knew a fellow who somehow never managed to make any money out of a collapsing market. He was forever blowing bubbles…
