Let’s look at all the occupations that used to be callings .. or at least devoid of political agendas. Teaching, spreading news, nursing, foreign volunteering, small-town doctoring and law, .. add your own categories. Gradually, over a century, the good-heartedness of people in those fields was replaced by advocacy and “save people for their own good” arrogance.

I have my own personal stories about the INCREDIBLE GP physician I had growing up … and how the bureaucracy drove him to resign his practice … only to be replaced by my current PCP who posts notes about my medical non-compliance because Ive not taken ANY COVID boosters, RSV vaxx. Yearly flu shots … and a couple others I have no interest in taking. My medical social credit score looks very, very, bad … on paper … in my “files”.
