    1. Nope LCB – This one is GREAT! Covers all the bases.
Our history is absolutely solid. We have nothing to appologize for! But for the last number of decades we have been under constant attack from the east. We must pursue our future, separate from the confines of CONfederation. Our kids and our grandkids deserve a future like that which we HAD. It’s not there anymore.
      We have outgrown our leashes!

  1. A good article in the Western Standard the other day.
    Aren’t you loyal to Canada?
    Yes – the old Canada.
But you replaced it with a new Canada (which you boldly trumpeted) and expected me to automatically transfer my loyalty from the Old Canada that built this country to the New Canada that is destroying it.
    Not gonna do it.
    So yes, I am loyal.
But you forgot to ask “To which Canada are you loyal?” The one my grandfather built or the Brave New World you have foisted upon us?

  2. In my experience when governments refuse to allow their own citizens the right to own a firearm that is when the excesses of power manifest themselves. My experience crossing the Alberta border at Coutts Alta-SweetGrass MT several years ago to visit my dying mother was a perfect example of abuse of power. I refused to answer the Canadian border agent’s question of what I did for a living. I was a US Army Intelligence Officer…so they had me drive around for a secondary inspection. I complied, and after the inspection turned up nothing I requested to talk to the supervisor. When I did that, the agent must’ve pressed a hidden button, out came two M4 Carbine toting goons with their weapons at the ready…I found out later it was because I didn’t answer the way the border agent wanted me to. I was born in Alberta, but I am a US citizen. They wanted me to acknowledge that I was born in Canada

  3. When I watch “Yellowstone” or “Landman”, I always think about Alberta and Saskatchewan where I live.

Sadly, after my sister’s estate is wound up (I am the executrix), I will be moving to Ottawa (the land of the damned) to be closer to my daughter who is my executrix. It is important to be in the same geographical area as your executors, as there is so much to do.

    1. Eastern Ontario has some beautiful little towns outside of Ottawa. The lifestyle is easy, all services are available, and they are quite picturesque. While the wide open plains and mountains are missing, there is plenty to see in many areas.

Most nice little towns are outside Ottawa City reach and have good local government. The transportation in this area is pretty good, multiple good roads to get into the city if needed.

Suggest staying west and/or south of the city if looking, more conservative. East and north are high french population and quite liberal.

Carleton Place, Arnprior, Mississippi Mills are nice and not too far out of Ottawa. Renfrew, Perth, Smiths Falls are a little further out and very nice.
