8. An unremarkable story other than the psychological molding that the media engages in. So, what is the message that Canada wants Canadians to hear, and what is the take away for Americans? It tells people on both sides what your governments want you to hear because it helps further their goals. And those goals have shifted a bit (especially for Americans).
