    1. L – I’m so old, I remember back in the 20th Century, when Canadians had Constitutional Rights and both the political leaders and government employees, bragged proudly about that. The Magna Carta acknowledged the Natural Liberties of the English people. The Crown and thereof were obliged to be under the Rule of the Law, too. The foundational figures prior to that, such as, King Alfred the Great, respected the rights of even a humble common peasant and fought to defend them. British Liberty was the heritage of the Anglosphere. Everyone who wore a uniform proudly passed it down, as a sacred trust. “In Flanders Fields reminded all, that that covenant was written in blood.
