CNN- Kennedy Center board votes to rename it ‘Trump Kennedy Center’
“The Kennedy Center Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to name the institution The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts,” spokeswoman Roma Daravi said in a statement, adding that the name honors Trump’s work at the center since taking over early in his second term.
At least it wasn’t renamed in a language that only 100 people speak and script that only 10 understand.
I’m thinking the exact opposite. Renaming just a single street or city name is just condescending lip service.
Rename EVERYTHING. Rename every street, every business, every building. Don’t whitewash anything with English letters and numbers. Rename every item and product. Be authentic and walk the walk and talk the talk.

Make sure every native language is represented, either equally or proportionally, what ever the most fair is.

On a slightly related note, I was in Can Tire yesterday, at the checkout getting ready to pay w/ my CC. First thing up on screen is if I wanted to continue in English or French? I asked the girl, “While it’s admittedly been a long time since elective French in grade 8, aren’t the numbers the same?”

Just like stadiums, naming rights typically are added when a facility is recapitalized.

I would suggest that Trump honours Nugent, Kid Rock, and Ricky Skaggs.

As many have brought up on the internet, the Kennedy Center was named via statute. Therefore the board does not have the authority to rename it; only Congress can do that.
If that’s the case, then this week we can expect a Dem judge to order the name taken down.
If in facts it’s even been put up. This might all blow over before anything of substance is done.
