In a related AI unemployment story … every local Christmas tree lot around me … including Home Depot … are still LOADED with inventory here on Dec. 15. That’s my unscientific analysis of the cost of living and job security here in the SF Bay Area. It doesn’t look too good.
And no, KM … the cost of trees are pretty much the same as they have been for the past several years … so you can’t hang this on Trump’s tariffs. Unless they weren’t high enough on cheap ChiCom artificial trees.
It might also reflect the reality that almost anyone who cared about the Christmas season as anything but an excuse to buy crap made in Red China with money borrowed from Red China for people they don’t care enough about to give them something for Christmas that isn’t crap made in Red China was driven from the SF area long ago.
I suspect business is much brisker for people specializing in preparations for Chinese New Year, a family festival approved by the Red Chinese administration.
What does a real tree go for in SF? Are they even allowed?
They’re stupidly expensive in WI, a state full of tree farms.
The majority of rental properties in Ontario won’t allow real trees as they’re a fire hazard. San Francisco, with its stratospheric housing market, is likely the same.
This benighted world is ruled, and the means of production controlled, by people who hate the Lord of Hosts and His beloved Son our Redeemer (Who was born on Christmas Day), and who want to blot out the holy Names of both at any cost.
Earthly wealth and power did not cause our masters to turn against their Creator. Had they not turned against Him, they would never have become any more wealthy or powerful than you or I. No man can have two masters, and they chose the master whom they thought would reward them in this world.
Once you realize that, everything else they do makes sense, including their initiative to induce the people of any nation posing a meaningful threat to their power to stop reproducing, which has gone according to plan in every country except Israel—another reason our masters despise the Jews so much, as almost alone among the civilized peoples of the world, the Jews of Israel refuse to acquiesce to their own extinction.
