J5 Pipe Bomber Arrested (Bumped)

Bumped.

DAILY WIRE: Accused pipe bomber Brian Cole worked to get illegal immigrants out of ICE facilities & sued Trump’s DHS. DC Court of Appeals ruled against him weeks before January 6, 2021.

He later hired Trayvon Martin’s attorney to call on Biden’s DOJ to punish anti-black racism.

After losing his lawsuit against Trump DHS, over his 100s of bail-jumping illegal clients, Cole allegedly planted pipe bombs, then asked the Biden DOJ to go after a local Tennessee prosecutor by invoking anti-black racism.

Well, there goes the narrative.

Fox News: A suspect who allegedly planted pipe bombs outside both the RNC & DNC headquarters in Washington D.C. on January 5, 2021, is now in federal custody after a nearly five-year investigation, law enforcement sources told Fox News Digital on Thursday.

Suspect is a male from Virginia.

Now ID’d as “Virginia man Brian Cole, sources told Fox News.”

… Developing

…tracked through his purchase data, cell phone, & license plate. And it took 5 years to find him?!?

  1. Not a correlation/causation kind of guy but Trump has been in office for only 10 months and there’s finally an arrest.
Weird how Merrick, Wray and the rest of the IC gang were perplexed for five years.
I’d bet they were quite the wizards with the game Clue back in the day.

    1. I just learned the FBI made the arrest based on information and evidence they already had for a number of years.

  2. Perhaps it took so long, because the accused might be another eff-bee-eye asset, like those 3 dozen that were at the Capital, embedded in the crowd, on the sixth???
I wonder want the betting odds are, that the accused has ties to the eff-bee-eye?

    1. If I remember correctly, there were 274 3-letter agency employees in the J6 crowd. Not counting Ray Epps. And I wouldn’t take your bet!

  3. Something has long bothered me about these ‘pipe bombs’…

Setting aside the amateurish construction and poor quality of the photos (where is the battery?), there’s this:

That’s what happens when you use black powder and screw on the standard end caps. Simple physics: the pressure increases *only* until the weakest area gives way. I know…I used to build these for fun in my youth (although I used old watches and kept everything internal). The pipe has strength, the cast iron end caps do not.

Either the perpetrator was grossly incompetent or this was an inside job, and mere political theatre.

    1. lol, I gotta tell this story…. me an my 12 year old buddies build these pipes with flame fusses and drop them down the hollow pipes of the soccer goal post at the school yard at 1 am ….lol… it was incredible to see the flames …. it’s a wonder we weren’t killed, I grew up in the 70’s, wish I could go back

  4. I’m wondering if the accused may be a ‘spearcatcher’, hired and paid extremely well to, or duped in to taking the fall, hence protecting intelligence community assets and supporting a false narrative.

I’ve nothing to support that assumption except if the media or the government says anything I assume it’s a lie until or unless proven otherwise.

  5. Wait. So this suspect wasn’t a MAGA insurrectionist? Hasn’t that been the dominant FBI, J6, narrative since 2021? I guess Nancy Pelosi is no longer the lead investigator in the case, eh?

    1. Don’t worry Kenji, the NY Times and WaPo will soon run stories saying he was actually a MAGA Trump supporter who infiltrated left wing organizations to discredit them by engaging in nefarious activities.

No doubt. But it’s also interesting that they didn’t come anywhere near to catching him until a DC cop was accused of planting the devices. Like DB says…five years? Seriously?

        1. The idiot Senator John Warner from Virginia criticized the Trump administration for accomplishing in ten months what the Biden administration couldn’t do at all.
That the accused is not a vocal “MAGA” supporter may account for the Democrat’s disinterest in unraveling this, given that it does not support their entire January 6th insurrection play.

  6. If Hitchcock was still around, he would update “the birds” and call it “the squirrels.”
still in black and white with no music.
    Or Well….
    Have a nice day.

  7. I suspect that fallout from this will be more damning then this arrest. There’s a reason the Jan 6th committee destroyed a significant amount of their communications. It would be interesting to determine if they were influencing the FBI not to pursue the perpetrator after learning that his affiliation did not advance the narrative they were so desperately trying to facilitate. The Jan. 6th committee may well have destroyed any connection to this, but every correspondence involves two or more parties. I still keep coming back to the wealth of “classified” data secured in the burn room at the FBI building.

Additionally, about a month after the event, there were independent sources popping up saying that:
    1. The suspect lived in Northern Virginia (Cole lives in N. Virginia)
    2. The suspect was identified via telephone triangulation timed with the use of a train transit card at the DC terminal.
    3. The closed circuit security feeds showed the suspect returning to the train terminal and using the transit card again.
    4. Closed circuit security feeds showed the suspect returning to N. Virginia and even secured a vehicle license number while leaving the parking lot.
    5. Surveillance was put on the suspect for about a week before someone on the 7th floor of the FBI building discontinued the surveillance without explanation.

None of this is corroborated, but it will be interesting to see if it matches up to what is released in the coming days.

“This cold case languished for four years until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI,” Bondi explained. “The FBI along with U.S. Attorney Piero and all of our prosecutors have worked tirelessly for months sifting through evidence that had been sitting at the FBI with the Biden administration for four long years.”

The damning evidence was in the FBI’s position before Trump took office, Bondi emphasized. “There was no new tip, there was no new witness, just good, diligent police work and prosecutorial work,” she explained.

Yup…looks like they deliberately *sat on* the evidence for years. Will anyone ever be held accountable for that, I wonder?
