Annual interest payments on the debt will exceed the deficit during the life of this administration and not because the deficit is falling – it will remain over $50 billion. Nice. I hope Justin is enjoying his Caribbean Cocktail.

If you keep borrowing, your interest payments keep increasing.
For example; the US paid $1.13 Trillion interest on its debt in 2024. It’s expected to pay $1.26 Trillion in interest for 2025.
