There is an election today in Yukon Territory, they’re not finished counting votes yet but I wanted to note the #Libranos did have 8 seats in their legislative assembly and now appear to be at either 0 or 1 as it’s going back and forth at the moment, having taken just under 10% of the popular vote… and 1 riding not having a guesstimate yet. I can only guess there isn’t enough seniors collecting gov’t pensions in Yukon to make the solid voting block the federal #Libranos depend upon.

    There is a non binding plebiscite on moving from “first past the post” to a ranked voting system which I’d oppose, though I do think having a run-off vote between the 2 leading candidates is a good idea in a Presidential system. I didn’t find any polling on that tonight…

    The #Librano leader did have a lengthy speech when the results were certain, and has not stepped down… kinda a bold move there.

      2. Carnage will unveil a “budget” with a very low deficit.

        He will exclude all capital spending from the “budget”, calling it “investments”.

        Similarly, interest payments on the debt won’t be part of Carnage’s “budget”. He’ll call them something else.

        Whether people buy the above Liberal charade won’t matter, because the Liberals will have done some sort of deal with the NDP, to support the budget.
