  1. I suspect that segregation may be amicable answer to satisfy their claims. One smaller school for aggrieved minorities, one larger school for the remainder.

  2. Underachieving black students = systemic racism and not lower average IQ of blacks, eh? Well, then. Carry on screaming about racism, black folks. Us whites no longer give a flying f*ck about you.

  3. The answer is quite simple – A voucher system –
The student gets an education and the parents get a choice and a say in
where/how their education dollar is spent –
And as an added bonus no whiney teacher unions on
    the taxpayers dime –

    1. Big: we did it when my kid pleaded to get moved to the catholic high school, ‘be with her friends’ deal etc. see below. all it took was a phone call to Holy Cross St Catharines (God bless them it WORKED!!! (pretty much as cd be expected that is)) to initiate things and iirc one more to the public hi school advising them of the decision.
l wanted it to happen but kept my mouth shut hoping she would do exactly that.
one phone call gets the funding moved. at least back then.

  4. I have challenged many people on various blogs and forums over the years to provide me with an actual example of ‘systemic racism’, in Canada, in the year 20(xx).

Not actions taken by any individuals employed by companies, corporations or any branches of government….that is not what ‘systemic’ means. I’m talking about *real* and demonstrable racism ingrained in or inherent to the official policies or procedures of any system followed by any agencies private or public.

Been called a lot of names, naturally. Had a few people who thought they were clever enough to change the prerequisites of the argument, hoping that I wouldn’t notice (wrong). But only one guy ever took a serious shot at it; he had a vested interest in the system, since he had worked for an NGO (or was it an NDP PM? I forget…) and his job was to write articles for various left-wing publications about how awful ‘systemic racism’ was and how to counter it.

(because of that, I guess he felt obligated to at least try to prove me wrong)

His best shot? That the government agencies dealing with the various needs and demands of the natives were located too far from the reservations, and many natives *didn’t have cars* to get there easily. Seriously…that was the ‘argument’ he offered to prove his contention.

DEI policies are the only real ‘systemic racism’ I have ever seen, and since they are only directed at Caucasians that apparently doesn’t count.

  5. regarding secondary school where the edjookaySHUN exSPURTS really double down, short of home schooling we opted to send our only child to the catholic school (it helped when she came home in tears confronted by the ‘rough nature’ of the typical ‘jock mentality’ at the public high school. that wd be lakeshore? secondary in st catharines). Holy Cross enforced a dress code and sensible curricula.
and a hop step further down the street. convenient!!
that was early to mid 80s, its all changed now.
anyways whilst there she earned a scholarship and won the writing award for her grad class. just saying . . . . .
