Library patrons are requesting non-existent books and media hallucinated by AI systems, leading librarians around the country on a wild good chase. The unlikely source for the non-existent books are reading lists published by major newspapers that mixed in AI-generated titles with the real thing.

AI isn’t all it’s made out to be! Who knew? It’s certainly artificial, so one out of two ain’t bad?
Hello, “I’d like to place a hold or search for the title, Truth, by Hillary R. Clinton… I’m certain it’s out there and maybe there’s just such a demand that I haven’t been able to source a copy” .
And the client financing loop, just like WorldCom, has started using the “B” word (Billions).
Wile E. Coyote will catch that anvil at the perfect moment, too.
“a wild good chase”
?
whaalllll Kate if’n youse says so . . . . . .
Man asks AI how best to raise a child, the answer is spot on:

Must have been the AI developed by Gab.
I’m shocked. It’s the opposite of what I expected an AI would say.
If it keeps the collectivist librarians business, what’s the harm? Just think of what mischief they could get up to if they weren’t on AI boondoggles.
BTW … I have fed MULTIPLE questions into my AI program asking about the 2017 Tweet by Tylenol commenting they DO NOT recommend Tylenol for pregnant women. I shaped questions into multiple ways … and NEVER did it answer anything about the Tylenol tweet.
Oh it’s authentic. In 2017 Tylenol clearly recommended pregnant women NOT USE Tylenol … but AI won’t address it at all.
