    1. The country I’ve traveled around in the most, aside from Canada, has been the US (including big city downtowns) and never even sensed a whiff of danger anywhere.

I’ve done it with various buddies, with my sister and mother, with girlfriends, and with my wife.

        1. I’ve been to Oakland and enjoyed a nice evening with some buddies. Of course, this was a long time ago.

Afterwards, we slept in our travel van parked on the street.

    1. Uh oh! Did Trump just call Somalia a shithole? I can’t wait to read the WSJ story about a White House insider who tattled on him … like a middle school mean girl.

  1. Julia Xu deserves a whole lot more attention. This was her X/Twitter profile before she deleted it: @bringbacktheguillotine

Here is more information about her:

The X (formerly Twitter) account @bringbacktheguillotine belonged to Julia Xu, an Oberlin College student who received widespread public attention after posting extremist comments following the assassination of activist Charlie Kirk in September 2025.

    Key details about the incident:

The posts: Using the handle @bringbacktheguillotine, Xu made multiple posts online calling for more political assassinations. She stated, “I don’t feel bad and I don’t think that everyone deserves the right to free speech. Some people should be afraid to express their opinion in public”. The posts were widely circulated after being shared by others on X.

Controversial views: News reports indicated that Xu had also cited former Chinese leader Mao Zedong in class, in which she expressed her disapproval of free speech for “capitalists and reactionaries”.
Affiliation with Oberlin: The New York Post identified Xu as a second-year politics and international affairs student at Oberlin College in Ohio. She was also on the advisory board of the Gender, Sexuality and Attraction Initiatives at the school.

Backtracking and remorse: After her post went viral and drew public backlash, Xu deleted her account and released an apology. She stated she was “deeply remorseful” and did not condone political violence, claiming her comments were “tactless”.

Context: The posts were made in the wake of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed while speaking at an event in Utah on September 10, 2025.

Who exactly is she and who is her family? What ties does she have to the Communist Chinese government? How come Oberlin College has refused to comment on her outrageous behavior? How come Oberlin College has scrubbed her presence on their website? Is it safe to walk near her on the Oberlin College, especially if you are a white person? Would it be safe to hold a Charlie Kirk vigil on the Oberlin campus, knowing that she resides there?

    1. Tsk, tsk, tsk … Robert and Joe … his pronouns are they/them (from the article). My first clue? No self respecting woman would wear THOSE glasses. They’re classic drag queen queer caricature of a silly-looking woman.

    2. “We need to bring back political assassinations,” said Julia Xu in a social media post, where her handle is @bringbacktheguillotine. “I don’t feel bad and I don’t think that everyone deserves the right to free speech. Some people should be afraid to express their opinion in public.”

She was “inspired” by her studies of Mao. She is one of those people that thinks she will never be on the other side of that argument and look at the business end of a gun barrel. The CCP stacks these useful idiots like chordwood when they are done with them.

  2. Cushy Jobs…
Carney’s handing out plums to all the nuts who turned Canada into a shithole.
Billy Liar Blair should feel quite comfortable in gunless Britain.
He’ll probably be cheering on the pathetic cops to arrest every Britain who dares to fly the flag or criticize a traitorous government.
And people over there will appreciate Blair and be able to quickly put a handle on him: Canadian C*nt.

  3. regarding ‘days of rage’ l remind SDA l earlier described Charlie as the *first* casualty of the 2nd American civil war and it is going to be VASTLY different.
most of the fighting will be inside the brains of the participants. thats where the conflict is. there rest is just ‘sound and fury’

  4. The question I have is why does Canada require both a Consul General in New York, and a UN Ambassador in New York, and paying for high end condos for each of them?

Why is that not 1 job? Think of how much money could be saved, whole staffs let go, and a $12m condo sold because its not needed any more

  5. “Canada’s special representative for the reconstruction of Ukraine, a new diplomatic role created by Carney.”

Was the regular representative insufficiently corrupt, that we need a “Special” one?
