    Perhaps the new homeowners will unionize and refuse to take possession of their dumps until the homes are brought up to the standards of their hometowns?

If it makes you feel any better in my blue city in a supposed USA red state they want to raise our taxes to help pay for affordable housing and the 1 BR units literally cost twice as much because of the government “support” .No wonder the developers are heavy donors. Oh, and all the thousands of student apartments built in the last several years have 10 year tax abatements

  12. Fortunately, by the time this gets going, the current market softness will probably resolve itself, it only took 4 or 5 years the last time around in the 1980s to get back to actual growth.

    Of course, by then, there may not be enough builders around, so we’ll have to import some from some other country, which will also make The Carney’s Circus Immigration Minister happy.
