It’s not just tweets. People are being punished for peacefully marching, for petitioning the government, and even for displaying the British flag.
It’s not that much better elsewhere. France prosecuted its leading opposition figure, and Germany is doing its best to outlaw the main opposition party. (And the suspicious deaths of that party’s candidates just before an election aren’t inspiring confidence either.)
These nations are supposed to be democracies. Yet while “democracy” may not mean that the people get an unmediated fulfillment of every wish, it should at least mean that things that are heavily opposed by the populace don’t happen.
It also teaches us “always listen to Kate”, who set the foxes to caper under “Tony Blair’s Britain“.

IIRC, gun control attempts by the Biden regime were shot down by the courts.
Also more states approved either concealed carry or open carry during the four Biden years.
Finally, the US Supreme court is overruling many of the lower court rulings by Democrat judges.
Two more judges and the Supreme Court is in the hands of the Dems.
At that point the first and second amendments may not be worth anything.

Yes it does. I must say that despite me reading and commenting here for so many years, and my disdain for the #Lieberals and the socialists the world over, and even my very own life experience, I never really -got- the situation with governments and socialists until Covid. Deep inside, I still believed they weren’t all bad, I do admit.
But now, post-Covid, I have no trouble understanding the goings-on in England with guys getting arrested for tweets and flying the nation’s flag. Yes, they are all bad. Yes, they’re going to start in killing the people they don’t like. Probably pretty soon. In Germany they may have already started doing it, 7 dead AfD guys this week? That’s a spectacular run of “bad luck,” right?
Here in Canaduh they’re setting us up for a government monetary default and suspension of civil liberties. That’s just what it looks like to me. After Covid, again, no surprise. They MAKE you take an unproven vaccine for a -cold-? Then they’re capable of anything.
