  1. Robert, I’ve never done the “river walk” in Chicago … but I have done the Chicago Architectural boat tour. One of the most fun things I’ve ever done. Our 70-something year old docent/guide was both informative and hilarious. And the water tour perspective of Chicago is a must-do.

      1. Probably the most planned and organized trip I’ve ever taken was to Chicago … the MAIN attraction was the 5th row seats I bought to Steely Dan playing at the Auditorium Theatre … but did the grand tour. Authentic Blues club (yeah the only white couple there … but treated very well). River tour. Cubs game drinking old style beer out of wax paper cups. Heaviest thunderstorm I’ve ever experienced jusssst after the game was over. Taking the El around town. Took in ‘The Taste of Chicago’ outdoor food gala. Deep dish pizza- meh. Many world class Museums … Field Museum … too much to take in. I liked Chicago more than NYC … everything’s a bit more compact.

    1. Ohhhhh Noooooo!! You went to a HOITY-TOITY Residential School!! Ohhhhhhh mommmaaaaaa … have you DEMANDED reparations so you can excavate the unmarked graves?? Graves of the dead little boys who wouldn’t play ‘super-weenie’ with the headmaster?

Yes … the facilities are beautiful. Your home was your castle.
