  1. Being a Conservative opposition Member of Parliament today means being excluded from access to non classified data. Given the totally wasted concentration of western Conservative votes within confederation, Rempel would be actually “working hard” for her constituents by working for separation.

  3. Michelle Remple-Garner is the MP from my constituency, I’ve never met her, but think she’s doing a fine job, and note that she was the lone MP not present to vote for the Nazi guest of the HoC, who was applauded by the entirety of the HoC kerfffle a couple of years ago…
    As well as to be expected from the opposition bench. I don’t know what she could do re: separation of AB.

    The court case if the question being put to the electorate in AB for separation is being heard in the king’s bench court today. Apparently the court room is full, this is from a Facebook group opposing the question, and written by a Ken Chapman with the group “Reboot Alberta” :
    “The Court is in session on the Chief Electoral Officer application.
    Introduction. Treaty Six has counsel here too. Alberta Justice is here too. And someone representing an Amicus Curia…”a friend of the Court.”
    Looking at procedural matters and APP Motion to Strike the CEOs Application.
    Several Intervenors want time to prepare.
    Issue is to deal with the Motion to Strike or procedural matters first.

    I am seeing this link regarding this, but no others yet, perhaps more coverage will be posted later today or whenever the king’s bench decides to issue their opinion.

    2. She is my MP as well, but I lost all my remaining respect for her when she stood up with the fascists and pushed the anti-scientific poisoning agenda as a reaction to a non-existent threat.

      She showed her true colors at that moment.

      I believe the purpose for MRG and those like her in the fake-conservative party are to act as a pressure relief valve – saying some of the right things, and giving the plebs a faint hope that tomorrow may be better.

      All the while doing nothing of value, and if ever forming government doing nothing of consequence.

  4. So file a Freedom of Information (FOI) request and publicize it when received. Just because they are not publicizing the numbers doesn’t mean they aren’t being collected. And, this is not classified information. The precedent has been set by publicizing it previously.

    THIS IS WHAT YOUR SO-CALLED CONSERVATIVE REPRESENTATIVES SHOULD BE DOING!!!! They could make political hay out of this even if they never get a required response from the request. That, in itself, would be political gold. And, let’s say for argument’s sake they DID stop collecting that information. That is another place to attack. WAKE UP YOUR POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVES. Or just whine and complain. Your choice, Canada.

    1. The average brain-dead Kanidiot living in the usual Lieberal strongholds would not care. Many, including those in Conservative ridings, would dismiss it as misinformation.

    2. This assumes that “our” “conservative” representatives actually represent us.

  5. Anyway, e-mailed my new MP (our riding was redrawn) and asked him if the CPC plans to file any Access to Information requests in light of Ms. Rempel-Garner’s statement.
