11 Replies to “Maybe We Should Just Ban Real Milk?”

  1. Real milk has been banned in both Canada and the US for many years. Instead we can only get what’s left of it after having most of the nutrients boiled away, based on the quackery of pasteurization.

  2. I wish there was a way to do an experiment using Lactalis. Put it on the shelf one month just like it is presently. Then, put it on the shelf the following month with a new label that doesn’t mention it is plant based.

I bet they would sell more in the latter month.

    1. Isn’t there a song about those people? “Go Lactalis, I think she’ll know”, along those lines?

  3. I’ve tried almond milk … and didn’t find it horrible. However … my preference is half and half real milk for: cooking, baking, and personal consumption. No … I don’t fear … rather LOVE milk fat. Do I consume mass quantities? Nope.

  4. “Meanwhile, Lactalis Canada acknowledges its Sudbury employees’ dedication and the city of Sudbury’s “long-standing partnership” in the statement.”

How much taxpayer money was invested in this “long-standing partnership”.

On a related note, I have never seen their products in grocery stores, so I’m not sure why they’d expect better outcomes into what is already a saturated market.

  5. If I’m going to buy plant based anything it’s coming in its original plant form. I can’t image chowing down on some reconstituted sludge that is deemed “healthy” by our “expert” class.

  6. Every single business in Northern Ontario is subsidized in some direct and indirect fashion or both. I was especially keen to hear the disdain of the “workers union” communist parasites who no doubt sucked the very life out of this company. Communist lazy stupid unproductive trade unions need to be absolutely outlawed in Canada permanently. A nation of beggars cannot afford this.

    1. Thunder Bay population hasn’t grown in 50 years.
Had 5 paper mills, sawmill, iron ore terminal, multiple marine grain handling terminals.
Now has 1 paper mill, a medical center for NWO and Lakehead University has grown.
