Why only in the last decade or so?
What stopped people from doing this in the past?
Several things come to mind:
More fatherless kids reaching young adulthood, coupled with more mothers letting their kids run wild from an early age.
A growing tendency of regular folks to not stand up to lesser provocations for fear of being labelled racist, which results in those feral animals feeling more and more empowered.
Laxer policing in many jurisdictions.
A lenient court system, resulting in lighter sentencing , or no sentencing at all.
Now, now. We all know only Whites are racist and capable of hate crimes.
Al Sharpton and Oprah Winfrey said so.
