    1. Yeah, used for the people who built them and lived there until they left and it became what you see now, you dolt. It is an example of myriad locales everywhere.
I mean, good God! Drive around Sask for example, and enjoy ghost towns unending. They also must have been used for something.
Used for lives living in their time, and maybe living larger than some these days.
      Pardon my nostalgia.

  1. I think the multiple flag poles that he skimmed past in front of the building with the windows gives a rather solid clue.

  2. Those are the ancient healing lodges of the Warrenoakee people, Lizzybutt’s ancestors.

  3. I believe those buildings align with the noonday sun during the winter solstice on Dec.21. And since EVERYTHING will be white on that date. Snow on everything, and a whiteout Sky … the buildings will be invisible to the eye. It will take a Fargo Shaman to divine where the buildings are and to help “the others” land their spacecraft in alignment with the buildings.

    There … I … finished the internet.

  4. Public restrooms closed up after they became popular with the kind of crowd that does weird things in public restrooms? This is why we can’t have nice things

  5. Former public washrooms is my first guess, but probably too many windows for that. Park caretakers/groundskeepers?

    1. Yep,
Really old; like when there were 2 sexes.
Aligned with the river, probably had showers. Windows were probably translucent glass block…
      Well, those were the days.
I read there’s now a unisex porto potty that is poorly maintained.
Hmmmm, this may have been filmed there:

  6. Well, you know, most people in North Dakota are weird and white, so why should the buildings be any different?
