Wednesday On Turtle Island

Woke America:   VDH –  Iran has only one chip left.   A radical company is paying Supreme Court Justices.  Biden’s trans troops.   A Marxist Muslim for mayor?

Lord Carney’s Canada:   The Islamic Toronto Star.  Iranian sleeper cells in Canada.  Iran officials could flee to Canada.

Stories You Won’t Find At Carney’s CBC:  Heatwave hysteria.  UK mosques order Starmer what to do. Wednesday quick takes.   PJW –  Things are getting crazier out there.

Your morning meme.    Another meme.

  1. Re NYC

    The Democrat Muslim Marxist wants:
    – police defunded
    – free buses
    – rent freeze
    – city owned grocery stores
    – $30 minimum wage
    – wealth tax

Look for NYC to lose tax payers as individuals and companies move out of NYC.
I’m sure New Yorkers will enjoy Soviet style grocery stores with shelves. No sausage today comrade.
Travel on buses and subways will become robbers heaven.
    Small business will go broke.

    1. The choice is between a Muslim Marxist (isn’t that an oxymoron?) and a Corrupt Cuomo. Beam me up!
      Are the Republicans running anybody?

    2. Sooooo … haven’t every “not for profit” coffee shops quickly gone out of business? How does this socialist Shia creep plan to operate a “not for profit” grocery store?

And I’m just curious … what about the post-George Floyd retail shopping experience? Will most New Yorkers simply bypass the check stands anyway? Or will NY-not-for-profit grocery stores lock all the food behind steel cages like my local Home Depot?

      1. “Will most New Yorkers bypass the check stands…?”

The new mayor will defund the police, so who will stop people who walk out without paying?

The new mayor doesn’t want to prosecute minorities for such acts.

So why would New Yorkers pay?

Thus the stores will look like Soviet stores much sooner than I thought.

Bonus? Lots of people will move to New York for the “free” food and low rents (in office buildings vacated by businesses leaving NYC).

        1. Yep … like empty shelves of a Florida Krogers before a big hurricane. Sorry comrade. Try again tomorrow. And don’t complain, or the block Captain will refer you to a reeducation camp on Rikers island
