   1. The “bombing terrorists only creates more terrorists” people need to study more history.

      1. Any at all would be an improvement.

         It would be nice if they knew what fascism actually was too, but that would require deeper thinking yet.

      2. Islam is breeding huge litters of poor, disaffected, radicalized offspring … I’m not the least bit worried about adding motivation to a people who already want me dead.

7. Carthage: I knew of the Cato the Elder and “Carthago delenda est” (Carthage Must Be Destroyed). And of the razing of the city, the slaughter or enslavement of its entire population, the plowing in of salt to sterilize the ground forever where the city had been. Until watching the Victor Davis Hanson “Uncommon Knowledge” piece, linked here, I did not know that it was an unprovoked Neocon-style war against an adversary that was doing what it could to avoid conflict.

   And I notice (as a former Trump fan) that The Donald has shafted the DOGE with the BBB, facilitated the Ukraine strike on the Russian strategic bombers (parked in the open ‘cos that’s what the treaties to reduce nuke war risk require, and deceiving the Ruskies in doing so), and now, after saying “maybe decision in 2 weeks if you don’t play nice”, joining with Israel in a war of aggression against Iran the next day.

   Take away lesson for anyone dealing with The Donald (and the neocons) – what might that be?

   With the Iraq war we had the dodgy WMD lies. This time there’s not even an attempt to lie – just call Tulsie an idiot or whatever and ignore the intel, because

   Call me a Commie, Appeaser, Whatever – I’m sure folks will. I call myself a fool for believing that Mr T might have been better than whatever was running Sleepy Joe. At least Joe had the excuse of being not all there. Not so now.
