  1. a) the majority of people don’t want one

    b) those that do want them (wealthy Liberals) will wait for Carnage to subsidize them.

  2. This is sort of related to the 100% Canola tariffs being imposed by China. China wants to saturate the Canadian market with their cheap EV’s. Until Canada accepts this (because China over-extended thinking there would be a high demand for EV’s) the 100% tariff stays in place. I believe China assumed that consumers would be forced into switching to EV’s because that’s how it works in China. So, they made major investments in the technology (aka as stealing it). They, also, want to monopolize the EV market in South America. Their intention is to squeeze the US into allowing their EV’s there as well.

One big problem (well two if you count the fact that Chinese EV’s are more dependable than my Zippo lighter to start a fire)….the main problem is that no one wants them regardless of price or who makes them.

    1. General Motors is laying off workers at its all-electric Factory Zero plant in Detroit where it is adjusting production “to align with market dynamics,” the company said Thursday.

(The above is from less than two months ago)

    2. Clarkson was fired for punching a production assistant because his food wasn’t hot. The BBC was right to fire him. In a world where fantastically rich celebrities weren’t above the law, he’d have been charged and convicted with assault and battery.

      1. Utter nonsense … we live in a world where everyone sues the deep pockets of the rich. If this man were truly assaulted in the manner the BBC propagandizes … he would have sued for $200 million. It’s just that in England … the LOSER pays when he fails to bring an adequate case for prosecution. Yeah … he didn’t … so he didn’t.

And the word “punch” is also nonsense.

The man had ONE job, and his Boss … Jeremy Clarkson who is responsible for making $hundreds of millions for the BBC and everyone fortunate enough to touch the hem of his garment … wanted a specific food for his late supper … late, because he had already put in a twelve hour day, working his ass off for the show … and the lowly punk gopher couldn’t do his simple job.

It matters not … because the BBC actually BELIEVES that the “concept” of their show is all that matters and not the TALENT and writing that made it what it … was. So they trot out an unwatchable empty husk of what the show once was. No matter. Clarkson WINS!! He reinvented himself and is raking in $$Amazon bucks … while beta males everywhere get hard over the latest touchscreen ev reviewed on Top EV

    3. Going from 1 sale to 2 sales is doubling, even going from 10 sales to 20 sales is doubling. What are the raw numbers?

  3. Talking with a friend yesterday who has recently bought a new Lexus hybrid. His insurance is just over $7000!!

I drive a diesel SUV and the insurance is less than $2000.

So maybe high insurance costs are a factor also.
