Dan Knight- Canada’s $1 Billion Shipbuilding Contract: Why Did It Go to China?
While Carney and his band of Liberals hold press conferences and flash big smiles about “investing in Canadian industry,” their actions tell a very different story. Behind closed doors, B.C. Ferries—with the silent blessing of Ottawa—just handed a critical infrastructure contract to a Chinese Communist shipyard.

How much money went to Chrétien, Carney, et al?
100% on the money with reference to Chretien !! (and Carney!)
No doubt the Chinese ships will be state-of-the-art, have many bells and whistles in their nav systems and technologies in seafaring capabilities, and be able to be produced in short order.
But…they will also come with survalence systems in the tiny bits and pieces, with jamming and kill switch devices that could be controlled via remote (maybe even return to sender capabilities) if push were to come to shove. Then there is always the Asian steel issues which may be a bit of an issue.
How you say BINGO in chicomm?
It went to China because REASONS!!! you peasants. Shut up and get back to work.
China underbid Seaspan for the work?
Did the socialists in BC give the work to the socialists in China for consideration?
When we go to war with China and have no steel plants, shipyards, or heavy industries where do we get armaments? The primary reserve to fight future wars lies in having heavy industries.
Sums up Marx Carnage.
