    1. No, that’s likely a phone conversation. Extended phone conversations while doing other things or even using other apps on the phone are normal in this community. My favorite variation on this that I’ve seen locally is when they carry on a muttered conversation over a bluetooth headset, but also carry the phone on their belt with the speakers up full. 😉

  7. L- Western Civilization achieved the most, prosperous, peaceful and trust worthy societies in human history; because it is/ was based on Judea-Christian values(e.i. The sacredness of the individual made in the image of God, love your neighbour as yourself (The Golden Rule of Do unto others as you would have them do to you), don’t lie, steal, murder et al.

    As this and other examples prove: Not all cultures are equal !

      2. The enlightenment was a return to Christ’s teachings. The freedoms and thoughts of equality contained within early Christianity led to such ideas as “women should have rights too” and “slavery is wrong” that are entrenched in modern (formerly Christian based) societies.

        And they will be replaced by “might makes right” and Darwinistic “make yourself place in society or be a peon” because that’s how human nature is. If you had a clue you would be begging to stay in a no-government-imposed-religion (aka Enlightenment Judeo-Christian) society because those systems have worked and freed billions of people. But because of your short-sightedness, you’re chosing shackles instead while insisting your overseers save the worst punishments for those that disagree with you. Thank God you’re not in a position of authority.

  8. Who did he bribe to get his class one licence to drive a bus? I still haven’t heard what class of licence the semi driver who hit the Humboldt Broncos bus was carrying.
    One of the many scandals in this country is immigrants from certain countries bribing their way to passing a professional class driver’s test. No one in authority has the guts to investigate it, including the cops.

    2. Don’t a lot of immigrant drivers come with foreign licenses and just transfer them to Canada. What Canadian authorities might not recognize is that in some countries it is more common to bribe someone for a qualification than it is to earn it. The everyone is equal schtick.

    But once again activists courts are usurping the power of the Executive Branch. The PEOPLE of the USA didn’t elect these courts to run the country. Nor did we choose to take the opinion of some NYC liquor importer whose narrow business interests brought this lawsuit because he (most likely temporarily) had to pay tariffs on his imported liquor products. This business owner remained silent about CA wine exporters who face huge EU tariffs and strict quotas on exporting to Europe. Where’s their relief? Trump simply demands (as do WE the PEOPLE) … FAIR Trade.

    All the post did was record a malevolent bus driver not taking his responsibilities seriously. No mention of race in the tweet whatsoever. What it did show was an individual with reckless abandon and lack of respect for our laws.

    Next time, don’t be so quick to gloat when your side seemingly “wins.” The situation with Trump’s presidency is very fluid, and full of twists and turns. What appears to be true one day, turns out to be completely “fact checked” the next, and then the fact check itself turns out to be wrong.

    The reality is (and I know you have a hard time dealing with reality, which is why I dubbed you “UnReal”) that our side is far more in touch with what’s going on in geo politics than yours, which, with your side, turns out to be more like wishful thinking.

    Yeah… MY turn to gloat, and your rep around here just took yet another hit. How many more can you take before you finally give up and surrender to reality?
