The only way new resource extraction will happen in Canada, or the current ones survive, is when China, Russia, or the US of A forcefully come in and do it. I know which one I would prefer.
Either the law is the same for everyone, or there is no law. And the law must be blind in its application or it becomes biased. Biased law is the same as lawlessness.

What sanctimonious BS. the Ontario government is simply recognizing the fact that the grifters will get all the support they need from the Supreme Court in blocking anything they want stopped. This is now a case of salvaging whatever possible from the wreckage of the government’s policy.
