Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I’ll comment, Passports and Visa’s don’t flush so well.
True, but the flights were from North America to India and not the other way around.
““polythene bags, rags, and clothes that had been flushed down and stuck in the plumbing” after eight of 12 toilets no longer flushed,”
It takes a special kind of stupid to flush these items down any toilet let alone that of an airliner.
The only thing that didn’t go in the toilet were actual human excrements.
Indian food runs right through you. Less spice please.
It is strange, they are squirters rather than dumpers.
The only food that looks and smells the same on the way in and out.
Are they sure the biffy’s were clogged or did people standing on the can simply missed?
*
“Nearly half of India’s 1.2 billion people have no toilet at home.”
*
Nor do many who visit Wasaga Beach
The other half lives on the second floor.
Surprised they didn’t try to stick their butts out the windows.
Im sure the DEI maintenance crews are working hard looking at their phones..
“polythene bags, rags, and clothes that had been flushed down and stuck in the plumbing”
so, on purpose… did all of the passengers make it to India, or did they disappear after the flight was diverted?
Where I worked (see my comment below), these IT animals would periodically jam a roll of TP into the toilet to purposefully make it flood.
I called up the plumber to come real soon
He tells me not to flush a tampoon
This great information cost me half-a-week’s pay
And the toilet blew up the very next day

I worked in the Facilities department of a corporate HQ for almost 2 decades. The stories I could tell of what the IT personnel (hint hint/wink wink – animals really) did to the bathrooms on their floor. Toilets? Who needs toilets?.
Concur.
The discussions I had with a maintenance manager reporting to me were very difficult. I was willing to take his word for it but the brutal SOB insisted on me seeing (and smelling) the evidence. The spray patterns can be spectacular.
As an aside, cultural differences can be confounding. In Europe, where bidets are popular, different nationalities can’t agree on whether to face to the wall or away from it when using the device. Trust me, that’s an engineering challenge of the highest order. True story.
Gives a new meaning to “Turd World”
I thought TFW was “Temporary Foreign Workers” but it really is “Turds Flying Wild”.
well. pffft, seeing as the Wasaga Beach authorities are on the lookout
‘when ya gotta go ya gotta go’.
they want to ‘get away from it’ where theyre coming from, but then
‘bring it with them’. slovenliness has to be a learned thing lm sure of it.
at a certain scale however it becomes CULTURAL.
at which point ‘diversity is our . . . . our . . . . . . . . . . . . help me out here.
Our diversity is our stench?
See what happens when you don’t provide a tent and a beach!
More toilet ‘humour.’
Prison toilets are an interesting market niche. They are made from stainless steel so that the cons can’t break them. The flushing mechanisms employ sophisticated electronics to prevent the prison population from orchestrating floods.
Stick around and learn shit!
I talked with a good friend in Toronto last week and the tenants who were in her upstairs apartment had left after one year, East Asians. She said that the apartment which is less than 5 years old, was so filthy, that she could not have her cleaners go in there. So she spent 2 days cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, shampooing carpets. The plumbing in the kitchen had to be replaced because grease had been poured down the sink and the woman washed her long black hair in the sink. As well, my friend had to have that apartment, her apartment and the lower level apartment fumigated because of carpenter ants. She said “Never again, will she rent to East Asians!”
“East” Asians. Do you mean Chinese?
That is what people from the Indian sub-continent call themselves.
Instead of Air Marshals perhaps each Air India flight has a designated Cousin Eddie. Y’know, the “Shi77ers Full” guy from Christmas Vacation.
Some of the comments below the article: “what, Air India has toilets?” Or “they don’t use the aisles?”
Weird. Thought they’d cut a hole in the floorboards like their truck drivin’ brethren.
Speaking of India…I see they’ve launched missiles at Pakistan today.
Time to look for my Slim Pickens hat.
Bombs away! Military and civilian flights both……
I don’t care who wins, just hope both teams have fun.
They know how to use toilets? My son stopped working out at the local university gym because he said such people would dedicate in the showers and let the water wash it down the drains. Eventually the drains clogged.
Diversity is our strength.
Indians ain’t the only ones that can use toilet training.
Since when are you housebroken yourself?
GYM could have helped out, he’s good at packing fudge.
Coprophilia is a big word GYM, look it up.
This wouldn’t be the second time either. Back in 2007 (?) I flew direct from Toronto to New Delhi. On the return trip (also direct) we were in trouble only a few hours into the flight. Two washrooms had been shut down and the pilot pleaded with the passengers not to throw “stuff” into the toilets. To no avail. We were past Britain and just headed over the Atlantic when the pilot threw in the towel and turned back to London, Heathrow with no operating toilets. Six hour wait for a new plane and then another six hour flight. Plus there was nowhere to get an English pint (albeit at 10:00 am, but still) at London, Heathrow! I don’t know what they throw in the toilets but they throw a lot of it in there.
Uh … these toilets are not anything remotely close to your average home toilet that has more easily clogged waste lines. These have one big valve closure and that’s that. How in THEE BLOODY hell does one “clog” a dump valve?
Are they flushing their newborn fetuses?
Airlines should be allowed to air-dump over Paris and London, Kabul and Karachi.
You can add more than a few Canadian cities to that list.
Under Harper, didn’t they provide people from shithole countries with sanitation lessons. The Liberals thought it racist and stopped it. Maybe people who crap in the open back home could use some basic lessons.
They need Bombay doors for those flights…
You meant to type Mumbai … please make a note of it. Mumbai doors
Savages don’t get to decide how we call them: Bombay, Ceylon, Peking, Ivory Coast etc.
Keyword: India.
These are the “smart” ones. The “educated”. Creme de le creme so to speak.
