      1. I agree, the writing is terrible. For me, it is always about the story – I am watching The Chosen on Prime Video and the writing/storytelling, production values and the casting/acting are superb. The Chosen is filmed in Utah and western Texas.

        1. Recently, I’ve been dusting off some of my old DVDs and watching them again.

          A few weeks ago, I saw the Granada Television mini-series The Jewel in the Crown, which was first broadcast in 1984. After I finished that, it was the BBC masterpiece from 1976, I, Claudius and I’m about a third of the way through.

          In both cases, good stories, excellent writing, and superb acting.

      2. Don’t even need actors anymore. CGI and AI will take care of the entire production.

Or do you think that Trump himself was so involved in the day-to-day workings of the DOJ that he personally chose not to appeal?

    The problem with such a tax is that a person with a net worth of $10 million does not have that amount sitting around in liquid assets. Sending them a tax bill for $100,000 on top of a tax bill that takes nearly 50% of their income is going to crush the economy.
