  1. Looking back, it was unbelievable how bad things were and where the Democrats and the globalists were taking us. Anyone who votes Democrat or Liberal/NDP/Green etc, I consider them to be more than just stupid but demonic and not just having a difference of opinion anymore.

      Question, how does one deal with people known to you most or all of your life. Who have worked and lived their lives to the right of center, and have now been so thoroughly propagandized that they they’ve jumped on this fake Canadian band wagon, and Liberal train, to the point it seems, they will never jump free from it. At least not before the election. I know people, some family, that would never support many of the positions the Liberal party stands for, social issues, financial issues, international issues, but some how, this buy Canadian, elbows up, nationalistic fervor, has so manipulated them, they have become strangers to me. I know how it has happened, MCM (MainstreanCanadianMedia) has them so gripped and afraid of clicking other forms of alt Media, for another point of view, that they’re locked into MCM. What will break the spell?
      All I can think of is to mock all the buy Canadian, “look for maple leafs” symbols any time they come on TV.

      1. I hear this propaganda daily and I shrug my shoulders in disbelief. I don’t know how to fight it because if people can’t see how bad things are and who did this to them, then they never will. It’s Stockholm syndrome. It’s so painful to see. If Carney and the Liberals are reelected, and it doesn’t matter if it is minority because essentially it will be a majourity, I can only plan for my own future.
        If that happens then I will push my kids into the US. I already have one there. I will support the dissolution of Canada and hope Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba vote to succeed. I definitely will buy more gold and convert more of my money into USD which is not a certainty. I will sell any CAD stocks and buy foreign dividend paying stocks.
        I loved Canada and come from old stock Canada since1694, but that doesn’t prevent the whole place from collapsing.
        Seeing the mass hysteria and loss of logic in this political campaign from the manipulative mainstream Canadian media and the poor education of the Canadian population through years of propaganda has made me loose all hope.
        I have a plan for me and my family but there is nothing we can do against the uneducated mob. There is no wide spread freely available media to provide counterpoints to CBC and CTV so the frog is now boiled. This is our last election. We will be too broke and have no political power to come back. Think South Africa.

        2. Without disagreeing with you, as I think you have accurately described the state of the country, I’ll toss in a couple of caveats.

          I think we’re on an Argentinean trajectory, not South African. A broken state where basic infrastructure still mostly works, but the economy just shambles on in a zombie like state loaded down with too much debt to achieve anything. Government mostly concerned with grifting. The people who can see the serious problems needing to put so much effort into staying afloat that they can’t organize to make any real changes. Too many zombie hordes addicted to the free stuff electing the same grifters over and over.

          We will still have elections. The Liberals will just win them all, because Conservatives bad. Assuming the Conservatives remain intact that is. They may blow apart into factions again, with snakes like the Ontario PC’s all too willing to attempt to turn the party into a valueless shell, little more than a clone of the Liberals. If the CPC does come apart at the seams, there’s another decade plus of Liberal rule baked in.

          Bottom line, nothing good comes of the coming Carney government. Well unless you’re in favour of blowing this rotten edifice of a country apart, because another Liberal term will no doubt light all the fuses on those bombs.

    Yes, I do dearly love many of the Easter hymns of my Lutheran hymnal … however … since I’m a rock kinda guy … and this performer is a local North Bay Area musician … 1970 … in the heart of the “Jesus Freak” movement … in the heart of my own coming of age and belief.

  6. Happy Easter to everyone here, even those that I’ve had entanglements with, like UnReal, AllanS, Eric Straus, “C” (sometimes), but especially first and foremost, gym. I’ll be praying for all of your enlightenment in the coming year. May Christ enter all of your hearts, reinvigorate your souls, and bless you with eternal life.
