EU and China. That’s Carney’s bailiwick. That’s a big telegraph and it’s hard to miss.
And Mark Carney is doing an excellent job of dealing with China, and the 100% Tariff on Rapeseed oil, peas and oilcakes, and the 25% on Aquatic Products and Pork.
Every obvious competence and resource inherent to Canada was suppressed and destroyed by Sox. Except the fentanyl labs. Canadians could all be quite wealthy, were it not for that.

That was strictly playing to the home crowd. Any serious leaders hearing that would roll their eyes. ‘Good boy Sparky, go get ‘em, you tell that Trump ‘. It’s a good thing most Canadians are incapable of embarrassment.
The world has enough rabid authoritarian leftists out there leading already, no need for canada to try and get out in front of that bunch, it’s a crowded field.
And the world knows that canada has no respect for universal human rights or individual freedoms, so even if the canadian government changed course 180 degrees and went against the leftist authoritarians instead of cheering for them, we have no credibility.
The whole question of canadian leadership in the world is an exercise in navel-gazing arrogance and self-aggrandizement. Sorry children, you’re not special.
“Aspirational” This is one word that describes Canada’s Defence policy. It’s a pretty good policy. We just never implement it.
Canadians aspire to many things, like unserious children they dream of many things. Also like unserious children they call for mommy as soon as things get hard, only mommy is a failed government, a bloated leviathan that thinks only of it’s next meal, which is always taxpayers.
