  1. Why? Because Carnage, in his arrogance, is sure that his voter base is too stupid and ignorant to look up inconvenient facts.

  2. L – “Live Not By Lies” axiom by Alexandr Solzhenitsyn.

Thus, if the enough Canadian voters decide to elect Mark Carnage to govern Canada. In effect, they will have chosen to Live by Lies. Those who voted Liberal should not be surprised that, other Canadians may exercise
their option to not do so.

  3. Because as a member of the leftard elite he’s accustomed to lying about everything to everyone, all of the time, and to expect the same from all of his peers. Truth and other nonsensical so-called “values” like fidelity, patriotism, and honour are the obsession of the little people over whom he and his Eloi compatriots are destined to rule.

  4. According to the Ministry of Truth he’s not wrong.
And chocolate rations will increase to 20 grams a week…from 30.

  5. the business of lying fascinates me.
as an autistic stuck on accuracy presented with, for instance, numbers, and a library-like memory for information, a lie ALWAYS creates a contradiction. for the longest time it vexed me, what am l missing? what did l get wrong? the answer wuz, nuthin. the lie is like the puzzle pc that doesn’t fit anywhere. once l figured out lying was the norm, it became somewhat a fun exercise to figure out where the lie was that confounded the explanation.

ah, but now in 2025 having been retired early and 18 years ago, l escape the personal consequences of the lies and just sort of conclude very little spoken in some quarters (pun intended) is reliable.

  6. ““Why would Mark Carney lie about something so easy to look up?”

    a) He doesn’t do research; he is an executive. He has people to research for him.
He therefore does not know the ease of an internet search.
    b) Government sociologists will tell Carney’s speech writers about LIVs, the schtoopidity of the Canadian voter, and the general laziness of the middle/lower class.
