ABC had better do something about The View. It’s nice that they are now apologizing in near real time but allowing them to continue with this could be very costly. The shrews have a problem of leveling baseless slanderous accusations, hence the need for their apologies, and at some point an apology isn’t going to cut it.
ABC provides the shrews with their soapbox and is ultimately responsible for what they air. The harpies are a problem and ABC can’t say that they don’t know about it. Unlike cable outfits, cnn or mslsd, ABC has a license to protect and must answer to the FCC. The FCC forced SeeBS to pony up the unedited interview of The Airhead (kamala) and is pushing ABC about demands the network is placing on their local affiliates.
Unless ABC takes corrective action then at some point the shrews are going to say something really stupid that no apology will cover. The network will be forced to publicly axe them as part of any settlement and to avoid the FCC from pulling their broadcast license.
I can’t listen to the radio and man I hate TV.
