    1. Well, let’s be honest. Trump did have something to do with this turnaround. The libs were at least smart enough to capitalize on Trump’s threats, rallying the patriotic Canuckistanians who get their information from the complicit media, who were only too happy to comply with the running narrative.

Let’s hope that Carnage takes the bait, calls a snap election, where Carnage will fall flat on his face debating PP during the campaign. Once the election campaign gets started, it’ll be too late for the liebs to do anything about Carnage.

It’ll be like Harris, take two.

Well, that’s how I hope things will go down. We have little else to hope for. Carnage will be the new lieb leader. Will he be arrogant enough to call an election? He does, after all, need a seat in Parliament. I don’t think he can be an effective PM if he is relegated to the visitor’s gallery.

      1. Look Poilievre had it in the bag and we were approaching unprecedented for decades level of majority. We could have turned this country around. We were looking at Bloc being the official opposition ffs. Then Donnie and Dougie 3F happened… I am afraid Canadians are lobotomized enough that if Trump shoots his mouth some more, we will have a Librano majority. Completely unnecessary losses inflicted on a political ally and aid to a political enemy. Pointless self inflicted madness.

And it was entirely predictable. You’re saying that “Libs were smart enough”. Anti-Americanism is a religion to them and to their core electorate and to the imported replacement electorate. How else were they going to play it, than wrap themselves in a flag and act tough? They had nothing to lose and just got thrown a dream lifeline straight from their playbook. It is not even smart is it Pavlovian.

Trump should have expected it. Did he expect it and act on purpose (what purpose?) or is he an idiot?

I hope your hopes turn true. But it should have never came to this in the first place.

        1. Agreed to that it should have never came to this in the first place.
But I have been saying that PP’s popularity was spurred on by Canuckistanians anger toward the turd, and if the turd resigned, PP could see a little bit of trouble.
And look what happened. The turd “resigned” (well, not really), and yet that was still enough to turn the tide on PP, but I also suspect that Trump played a part in that turnaround. As you say, the Liebs got thrown a lifeline, and they capitalized successfully with it.
There’s still hope though. Once the Liebs select (coronate) their new leader, their bounce back in the polls could evaporate as quickly as it came. We’ll see how the new leader, who ever he or she is, will handle a REAL campaign against PP during a general election.

      1. “Lib uptick is swing away from NDP.”

Only partly. Some of it is NDP, some of it is Cons.

    1. Yeah, a pretty inept AI attempt, but to me the really funny aspect is it demonstrates that Gazan mothers don’t understand the concept of swaddling a cold baby in the blanket it’s laying on.

    1. I’m getting vertigo just looking at the pictures. Heights never agreed with me.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for those tower crews.

  1. Ukraine war is over.
Trump brokered a deal with Russia.
Zelensky on his way to US to sign.

US gets 50% of mineral revenue till the war debt is paid.
    No NATO for Ukraine.
    Ukraine concedes territory

Where will Trudeau launder our money now?

  2. PP was successful in getting rid of the Bong. Trumps election had little to do with it. 2 years of withering attack and 20 points back in the polls finally finished him off.

The CPC is now back to traditional numbers and may even fall further. You may recall who called this months ago.

The key will be the traitors in quebek. Will they back a guy who can’t speak fwench?

Trump has already scared two Fishworld Premieres into full retreat. The rest of the population is shit scared and will predictably vote liberal.

    1. The poll with Liberals in the lead was bullshit.
Paid for poll by Global, only 1000 polled, I’m sure cherry picked to build a narrative the Liberals are back and push on the news cycles for days on the paid for media.
      All bullshit.
Here less than 48 hours later fresh polls have the CPC up between 10 and 20 points.
Plus Doug Ford’s huge win in Ont where CBC’s Barton says Ford must reflect downplaying his win.
      Defund those lying f**ks.
It doesn’t look good for the Liberals or NDP in Ontario, Liberal leader didn’t even win.

Not really. A touch of sarcasm on my part.

However, I was somewhat surprised by Benny Johnson’s post. It seemed to praise the big investment.

Robert Kennedy Jr said the US has 4% of the world’s population, but buys 70% of the world’s pharmaceuticals.

But, sarcasm aside, there are some very knowledgeable SDAers, who might know more about this “investment” than me. I was hoping for more discussion pro or con.

  3. An interesting clip presenting some info on Medicare/Medicaid fraud, over billing, and the lack of transparency.

    https://x.com/NEWSMAX/status/1894534089857749205/

For example: a pharmacist says a cancer drug costs him $7 per prescription. He tacks on $10 to cover his costs, so patient pays $17.

But the same drug, paid for via Medicare, costs $2400 Medicare per prescription. There were 250,000 such prescriptions for this drug filled in the US.

Apparently insurance companies and Medicare pay Pharmacy Benefit Managers to administer drug plans. The PBMs are paid a percentage of the medication cost. So they are rewarded if costs are higher. And the US taxpayer foots the bill.

      1. Fred

I saw it yesterday and thought, this can’t be real. It just seemed so outrageous.

But I did a lot of searching last night on Pharmacy Benefit Managers. There’s a lot of exorbitant profiteering going on.

When you google insulin pricing, you get the same story. Exorbitant prices in the US.

Trump 1 and, I hate to say it, Biden tried to reduce insulin profiteering, but I believe the $35/month payment limit only applies to Medicare/Medicaid patients insulin.

Trump signed an executive order to try and promote medical cost transparency, but big medicine, big pharma, and Democrats will undoubtedly mount a campaign to stop it.

  4. L – Lieberal Party of Canada boosting off season tourism or is it under the skilled worker shortage temporary immigrant work visa? Who knew we had a shortage of skilled burglars in Canada during the winter months?

Most likely to be counted as Trudeau regime’s achievements, on both tourism and filling the shortage of skilled workers in Canada.

“Crime Tourists: Organized burglary gangs are wintering in Canada and ransacking homes”
    https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/crime-tourists-in-canada

  5. And Mark Carney is just the leader to pay to replace all those homes, command bases, rockets, rocket launchers and other weapons.
