    1. You can file that report straight into the garbage. Flu shots are more like 0 – 6% effective or what I would call completely useless. The whole flu shot thing was an effort to save money because everyone was going to the emergency in hospitals because they had a bad cold or vomiting. Remember the white coats were telling us in the 80’s that a heterosexual couple of a boy and a girl who never had intercourse could still get AIDS.

  1. Some years are always worse than others. Some years the hospital would end up over 100% capacity. Is this year any worse than other “bad” years?

  2. A lot of people around me are getting sick with flu here in Libtard Toronto
Popping a couple extra vitamin D³ with my vitamin K² and an extra 10mg of Zinc with my multi-mineral pills.
Never took the Covid 19 clot-shots so I’m still of pure blood

  3. I had a long cold (3 weeks) in January and have another one which began last Thursday, but this one is not as severe. The last time I was sick was in January 2023. I only had the first 2 shots and then stopped after my sister had 4 adverse reactions.
This winter in Regina (brutal cold) reminds me of growing up in Edmonton in the 50’s and 60’s. It is cold, you get sick.

  4. I’ve never been more FREE from bronchial issues. Now, last November-December I had a really low grade sniffle thing that just went on for weeks and weeks, but it was never more than an annoying post-nasal drip. Never interfered with my breathing.

Hahahahah ha … listen to me … I’m an old person telling you about their ailments. I used to shake my head when my grandmother did that. Hahaha ha ha

But seriously … didn’t we completely eradicate the seasonal flu during and after COVID? I seem to remember there were ZERO seasonal flu “cases” or deaths during COVID. I thought Big Pharma and Big Government had saved us all from the flu … forever!?

    1. One flu died out completely

But it turns out masking, staying home, hiding in the corner etc does a pretty good job of suppressing flu’s and colds. Not enough to be worth the effort but a positive side effect.

here is a nice graph, pity it stops at 2019. Trying to google consistent calculations from multiple years is pretty horrendous, yes it looks like 2025 is going to be a bad year but if it’s the goo why so bad compared to 2024.

  5. Good point Kenji.

“ Post-Covid, the media knows no one will care if it tries to provoke panic”.
Not so in Kanada Alex. We’re well into our next panic.

    1. Amen,

Trump! OMG we’re all gonna die!
Covid! OMG we’re all gonna die!
The Flu! OMG we’re all gonna die!
Climate! OMG we’re all gonna die!

Insane taxes, no health care, rampant corruption! We’re tough and resilient Canadians.

  6. I’m seeing a much higher flu rate for the chronically vaccinated. After the work mandate went away it’s been easier to coast by with regular flu shots and ignore COVID ones mostly.

  7. No one is sick here; and no one trusts any published statistics any more.

Stands to reason that the uber-vaccinated have dramatically suppressed immune systems. Good luck to them.

  8. Its flu season.. I’m unvaxed and I have the flu.. That means this one is the silver bullet..
Because I never get the flu..

And all the old, weak and compromised (for whatever reason) will be that much more worse off..

  9. when the flu shots first started I had an employer who tried to force me to take it, I refused …. then I watched as everyone around me who took the shot get sick, I openly laughed at all of them and found another job and left. I was not too popular after that ….lol
I am a pure blood, hardly ever get sick, I’ve been taking supplements for almost 40 years.

    1. Very similar experience for me. Coworkers that were jabbed…frequently off sick.
And my employment involved doing a minor test on ER patients. For a few years I did a personal subtle ‘survey’, asking the patients that had flu like symptoms if they had the jab. All said yes.

  10. My sister works in a medical office in Regina, SK, and said “everyone is sick and people still aren’t masking up like they know they should and if everyone would just get vaccinated this would all go away” … she’s said as well the local hospitals are filled up. Then the spring allergies arrive, then the summer backyard fire pit people try to kill everyone…” That’s how she copes with believing whatever the gov’t told her over the past 5 years. My dad has said the senior’s facility they live in should have a revolving door at the entrance.

My family in Calgary-Vancouver, all of us Purebloods and doubting 100% of everything the gov’t says, are unscathed, living, not giving an F about the global outbreak of whatever is killing y’all, aside from saying, “we told you so” and looking forward to Thursday’s great annual spring thaw, Wednesday night at -24 and Thursday afternoon at +4 (Kenji that’s centigrado, very minor math’s involved, about 38F and then mid 40’s F for the rest of the week/weak)
I actually just let my phone to the heavy lifting there… 😉

      1. Me too. I’ve met lots of people who wished they’d not had the shot. Haven’t met anyone unvaxxed who wished they were.

  11. Berenson is right at the top pf the heap when it comes to misinformation regarding Covid. I doubt his flu analysis is any better.

    1. I shouldn’t reply because I know you are a troll. Allan, you are gaslit, have crap for brains, and are misinformation personified.

  12. In my area those of who didn’t get jabbed are doing just fine. My wife covers for senior coffee and she gets called in regularly. We never see the jab enforcers. They’re always home sick. They seem to get this weird chest cough and it just goes on and on and on and won’t quit. Two big community events at our local curling rink got cancelled from not enough people well enough to participate. We have had a lot, and I mean a lot, of shingles among both COVID jabbed and COVID unjabbed. Don’t know what’s with the shingles.

It’s hard to not feel satisfaction when the COVID enforcers are all down sick.

Last one of the big jab enforcers I ran into at the post office is dying of lung cancer. I told him I was sorry to hear that but I really wasn’t. He was a total bastard about damn the jab. Treated me like crap. He’s had 6 boosters.

    1. That would be the shingles vaccine they’ve been pimping for quite awhile now.

    1. 4900 flu deaths in 2021-22 … a SHOCKING statistical anomaly … that remains, without comment or analysis, in that rubbish Statista graph. Yes, it is politically manipulated graphs like this which lead me to mock and not believe a gawdammed thing the government and its apparatchiks publishes. Rubbish

      1. It might be that the statistic for 2021-2022 is inaccurate. It was in the middle of a pandemic and things were a little crazy. Or it might be accurate, as the lockdown may have reduced the spread of influenza.

You seem to be reaching here, looking for any kind of excuse to knock a post or poster you don’t like.

        1. while I don’t often agree with you, the lockdown definitely suppressed the flu and post lockdown the theory it is bouncing back as well as all the the other respiratory illnesses like rsv. Personally from 2020-2023 I had covid twice and zero flu’s or colds.

Certain news sources tend to panic about nothing much.

Your chance of dieing of the flu is perhaps 1/4 of say the 50’s

          1. Hmmm … RSV. Talk about your language of HYPE. No such thing existed prior to 2021. But now … just as every weather front is a “bomb cyclone” or an “atmospheric river” … we now have a scary acronym for respiratory illness. Hypers PUHLEEZE!?

        2. Who says I don’t like you? At least your posts are literate and coherent. My friend … I live in CA … if I weren’t still friends with people I disagree with … I’d have no friends. Don’t take my challenges personal. Difference of opinions don’t necessarily define people as enemies.

PS … we all stayed home… wore masks … and stood 6-feet apart in lines waiting to get into stores where the number of patrons were carefully controlled. Yet we “all” got COVID. Yeah, don’t think the isolation worked worth a shit. And no, I absolutely do NOT believe COVID was some “super-communicable” virus. No … it was all super-hype and fascist control of narrative and behavior.

  13. I ask, When has the flu ever been under “control?”

The verbiage Berenson uses, such as “out of control,” to describe a seasonal flu seems hysterical and exaggerated. Like an urban Karen from 2020, thawed and warmed over.

Here’s a more likely cause for the full hospitals: local radio stations here in Oregon have been pimping Pfizer’s latest “at risk” angle. As in, “you nay be at risk, so go to the hospital if you feel the slightest bit icky.” The ad campaign seems designed to spur on hypochondriais in the general public.

    We are all “comorbid” now!

These big Pharma/Obama-care ad campaigns may explain the busy hospitals.

    1. Our local COVID advertisements … sponsored by Pfizer … are saying that People ovvvvv cullller are more likely to get COVID and are statistically more prone to be fat asses and have diabetes and multiple underlying health problems … so … Black Folk!! Take the shot!! Take the flu shot(s).

Really. Those ads are running NOW

Pfizer … virtue signaling that Black Lives Matter too!

  14. One person in our household got the flu vaccine and the covid shot this year.
They have a cold or the flu. Seems like a coughing one.
No cold or flu for the other one in the household.

  15. Toronto area has six or seven million residents, but if a dozen people show up at one of the few hospitals there then they’re slammed…

  16. In Week4 of a terrible chest cold that is just going away. Not flu, not Covid. Doctor says it’s all over Victoria. Tons of green snot, deep wet coughing, hot/cold flashes,no energy, achey, but no sustained fever. Tenacious bug.
Thought wife had Pneumonia, she was sounding like coughing up a lung, all day long, but tests negative. Even doc thought she had it, she’s getting better, though still looks like hell (sorry dear).

    1. I got that too a couple of months ago. The cough lasted FOREVER. Thought is was permanent or something. Everyone in the family got it and had the same deal: a never ending cough.

  17. 1. A correlation. Shingles generally arise when the immune system is compromised sometimes even by stress alone. Before the clot shots I noticed a definite correlation between a shingles diagnosis (followed by avg. 16 – 18 mo. later) and a cancer diagnosis.
    2. Stay out of public restrooms. The Chinese proved that COVID loves the colon, as does the Norovirus, intestinal viruses etc. (The dart is in the fart.)
    3. Direct inverse proportionality has been proven between COVID severity and vitamin D levels.
    4. Put a UV kit on your HVAC system
    5. Dry air leaves the upper respiratory tract vulnerable to infection. Humidification is important especially with baseboard heat etc.
    6. Got Milk? Lactoferrin, vitamin D, Calcium.
I’ll leave you to lactoferrins, as for the others…

    7. Perineum sunning: kidding, but do get some sun, adequate rest, stay hydrated, ….
Smoke ’em if you got ’em.

  18. So, if you have 20 min. to follow the science heh, a juxtaposition:

    vs.

Looks like I picked the wrong era to quit…
    drinking!
…and when you go to the hospital what’s the one thing they won’t let you do?

BTW If you’re on ACE inhibitors they reduce the expression of ACE 1, so… your body actually winds up producing more ACE 2.
…and where’s the story on that?
    Time for the Tanqueray.
    and a Marlboro (vitamin red)
