Two days ago I talked to a retired dairy farmer in a chainsaw shop. Without returning my “G’day” he launched into “So what do you think of arsehole trump hitting us with those tariffs for no reason?”
“No reason? You guys have been hitting them with tariffs for years. And it’s not 25 percent – it’s 250 and 300 percent.”
“What do you mean?”
“The import duties on milk and eggs and cheese.”
