    The orange paint is about Trump, Orange Man Bad.
    The Tesla was chosen because Elon Musk is helping Trump and is, therefore the maximum enemy.

    2. Thanks, Winston. I was going to say the same thing. Another possibility is that they may have realized how much more CO2 is emitted in the creation of an EV compared to an ICE vehicle. The EV doesn’t have a lower life cycle emission total until it is most of the way to needing a battery replacement. But then that would require them to be capable of rational thought!

    Either way, these two aren’t going to very happy when their next national leader brings back nuclear power (and he will). Frederich Merz will be the new leader of Germany come February. He’s a strong proponent of nuclear energy. Unfortunately, he’s also a past executive of Blackrock.

  20. Just more evidence it was never about climate, as if there wasn’t enough already. I don’t mean the emoting simpletons pouring the paint, I mean the serious money buying the paint. Disaffected idiots like this are a dime a dozen, easy to point in any direction by telling them it is “virtuous”. The global forces who want to profit from a low carbon agenda, and conserve resources for their class realize that Musk is the existential threat to their “rules based liberal world order”, in other words the establishment. Trump they can withstand due to the time limits of politics and age. Musk could be around and effective for twenty more years, they don’t have that kind of time.
    The genius of Musk was discerning the plot, and recognizing free speech and Trump protect him from the system and it’s enforcers for long enough to expose them.

  22. I would sympathize with them if they did it for aesthetic reasons and not a climate protest. I had a good look at a Cybertruck last week in a parking lot. That thing is beyond ugly, it’s been clubbed to death by an ugly stick. It was designed by someone who’s only tool was a straight ruler where the only curve were the tires (I’m sure he/she would have changed this if possible).
