    1. Don’t Cry Cryo hilarious.

I foresee long sleep for them, after Trump. Two terms of Vance then maybe two for Tulsi. That’s a 20 year sleep and they won’t recognise the States when they wake.

  1. Wonderful! Give them (cross-border folks)another COVID shot and a 4-year sedative. MAID in Canada is an option too.

We will happliy have you enter Canada for MAID treatment. But bring $$$, as Canadians can not afford to kill you.

    1. “One must free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy.” Instead “ we are de facto distributing world wealth through climate policy.” UN Climate Panel economist Ottmar Edenhofer.

Politicians take wealth from the middle class, give some to the poor, and keep most of the rest for themselves.

  2. Europe’s biggest debt collector files for bankruptcy.

“The company has struggled as the pandemic, an energy crisis and two-decade-high interest rates failed to unleash a wave of loan defaults, with concerns mounting over Intrum’s net debt, which reached 49.4 billion Swedish crowns ($4.49 billion) at the end of September.”

Perhaps someone can decipher the above paragraph. It reads as though Intrum went bankrupt because others failed to do so.

    1. Maybe they will be allowed to collect their own debt. There… problem solved… no stinking assets required.

      Yasmine Mohammed:
“And these Muslims you are speaking about, the moderate-minded Muslims, the open-minded Muslims, the liberal-thinking Muslims, they are in such a minority that when they try to speak up against laws like that they are demonized. They are told they are Western puppets, that they are trying to be white, that they are denying their religion and they are denying their culture. As if pedophilia was a culture that people would want to continue.”

  3. Taylor Swift has descended on Hogtown to the tune of a $250 million boost to the local economy. Her fans are delirious and very well behaved. I like it. She’s not my cup of tea but I hand it to her. A self built mega star. No 4 dollar words and no mofo’s rioting. As American as apple pie. Whata breath of fresh air.

    1. I have some disagreement with your opinions. But as an economist I think the $250-million injection into Toronto’s economy is overestimated. If people didn’t spend $1,000 a ticket on her show, they would spend the money on something else. The media are playing up her visit for eyeballs.

      1. But many of those people are coming in from outside Toronto. If not for Taylor they might spend that money in another city.

    1. Haha kinda like Reagan using “Born in the USA” as an anthem in the 1984 election. Springsteen told the Gipper to cease and desist (the Boss is a democrat). He then explained to Reagan that the song is an indictment of America…

      1. Despite all the whining, writers and performers can do nothing to prevent their songs being played at public facilities that have purchased licenses to play music. That is pretty much every facility. In Canada the licenser is SOCAN. The pricks from SOCAN walk into stores listening for recorded music being played and then sell them a license for maybe $100. We only played radio which is already licensed.
