17. I recommend that she move to Minnesota or North Dakota and learn how to shovel snow, especially the wet and heavy spring variety. Maybe, she could buy a cabin in Bear Mountain, CA. Most of us learned how to shovel when we were 4 or 5. That was my first Mc-Job for no remuneration.

    Gardening with a shovel in dirt is, by far, much easier, as many Canadians and Americans know. We kids helped our parents plant seasonal stuff in the back yard. That was fun.

    Weeding, not so much fun, was my next Mc-job, which had to be done before playing with friends.

    Kids raised in apartment buildings do not learn too much, except if they have parents who actually take them to out-of-city places.
