Remember the good old days when Trump was president. No war in Ukraine and China was cautious about upsetting Trump. And of course peace in the Middle East, with Arab nations making nice with Israel. Iran launches drone attack against Israel. So are the Houthis. The crisis has spoiled Biden’s weekend at the beach.

Yes, and either impact in the desert or be easily shot down by Israel. Pretty much the same as Iran did against the US after the Suleiman assassination: target empty warehouses and airfields after calling and warning the Americans to get their personnel clear. Typical Iranian drama\theater.

Some minor structural damage to one IDF base, and a Bedouin girl injured by shrapnel caused by a missile intercept… after which Iran announced that their militarily action was “concluded” (no doubt in a desperate attempt to stop Israel from responding with a *real* military strike).

Sure but Iran launched some 185 drones, 110 surface-to-surface missiles, and 36 cruise missiles at Israel and NOT ONE hit a target inside Israel.
It’s an impressive system, for sure.
Problem is it takes more money to intercept than it does to launch. Iran and the others could just keep launching cheap rockets until the iron dome, etc, are depleted.

45 years ago Carter was too incompetent to do anything about stopping Khomeini from overthrowing the Shaw. Iran declared war and overrun the US Embassy taking all hostage. Carter’s bumbling allowed the Imams to set up a totalitarian Islamic state. Today is the result of Carter’s incompetence. It’s going to be a toss-up whether Carter or Biden proves to be the absolute worst US president of all time.
